I just want to put out a public thank you for this site being as exclusive as it is. There are some great people on here and we don't get spammed like other sites just to get post counts up. Yeah, I'm a mod here and its my job to mitigate that sort of shit if it pops up but the fact that we "screen" people before they can become a member is HUGE. I'm glad that we're run the way we are and the spamming of old ass threads doesn't happen to up your posts just so you can sell shit or create a new thread. Big ups to Tim, Thien, Skippy, and Mark for creating this jump off/ exclusive forum so as to not have to deal with the bullshit other forums experience. I also want to thank the members of the forum for not doing what obviously irritates me about other forums and being positive contributors. You guys are what makes this site "Elite".  Thank you again.

BTW, if this seems a bit like a rant, it is. Seeing other forums get spammed pisses me off to no end and I honestly wish I was a mod on those forums to mitigate the shit that sets me off. Thanks again everyone.

Also, big ups to Jeff for all the time and work he's put in reformatting the site and speeding it up from what it used to be. I didn't forget about ya buddy!

Well said Z! I admit I hang out on here way too much (and I don’t even have a 7th gen anymore), but it's just because of the type of people on here.

I'm the same as Jer, I love it on here, and even though I don't post as much as others, I still log in throughout my work day to break up the mundane job I have and get some decent laughs from you all.

Thanks to all the moderators and ofcourse Tim for all the hard work you put into this site and making it as fun and informative as possible.

I had an issue with my log in on one of said forums, and contacted a moderator and was actually encouraged to go in a bump threads to get my count up. Havent really been back after that.

You've gotta give Jeff props too.  He has done a lot of work reformatting the site and making improvements here and there as time goes on.  Without his help, our posts would still be loading up really slow.

You're absolutely right Tim. I should've given props to Jeff for everything he's done to get this site to its current state. I wanted to bust his balls with his post but decided against it. So let me come right out and say it.

Thank you Jeff for all the extra time you put in to bring this site to its current state. I'm still trying to get used to the format as its a lot different from what I'm used to with regards to modding the forum. I think I need a powerpoint or some shit to learn how to better work those damn controls. lol

I was randomly thinking about ECM today, and a few things came to mind that scream how awesome this forum has treated us all, and how well the members of this forum get along, and are willing to help out.

1. Remember the time Tim got stuck, on a long road trip and a member (Z I think) rolled out to give him a hand.

2. Paul, and Carrie willing to help  out anyone with anything car related. Talk about a wealth of knowlege and a willingness to provide great service at a fair price

3. Tim bailing me out with stupid shit countless times

4. NYCM rolling in to help Z paint in preparation for a move.

5. Countless well wishes and offers of help or condolence any time some one is going through tough times!

6. Skippy dropping the knowledge bomb from time to time, and flying up the east coast to help with a motor swap!

7. Thien constantly answering suspension and alignment questions!
At the end of the day what I'm getting at is top to Bottom the members of this forum are awesome.

Even though I don't post much since I'm a Camry puke and add no redeeming value to a CM forum, yall do a great job.  I'm an admin at a forum with over 400 active members so i understand the calories that must be burned (at no charge) to keep things running smoothly.  Kudos to the admin and mods of elitecm!

I've only been a member a couple months but I am lovin every minute.  It really is a good place to get answers and info or just to even bullshit.  You guys created a great thing here and I'm happy to be a part of it and happy you guys let me into it.  And as it's been said it really doesn't matter what car you drive but as you can tell from the members on here... Its a good starting point. :) So again thanks for havin me and just keep doin what your doin.

This place is definately like family.  From family shit to car issues, there is nothing even close to the ammount of support that can be found here.  Shit, I've been through head on car accident, spine surgery, house disaster, baby, and Im sure I'm leaving things out but the point is that because of ECM, all the tough times were made alot easier thanks to everyone here.

I wish I was closer to you guys!! hahah I am in the west coast. Maybe Mid west after I get accepted to Creighton!! Then I can take a road trip to Paul and finally have a few stuff I wanted done.

Hey Mike, that was me that helped Tim and Robin out. They were lucky I was heading back south to that training that day. Nobody else lived close enough to lend a hand.
