Title: does anyone have a carfax report/account i can use? Post by: rich on July 27, 2010, 04:49:16 PM simply stated. does anyone have a carfax account they can let me use to run my vin? something is fishy right now when i typed in my VIN on ebay and it ran their autocheck.
it's showing my car was a rental/fleet (NOT TRUE) and was in a front impact (dealer i bought it from said it was never in accident and there are no indications it was in a wreck) Title: Re: does anyone have a carfax report/account i can use? Post by: status on July 27, 2010, 06:25:32 PM For what its worth. i use to work for Avis rent a car, and something like mid-1980s is when they stopped caring manuals. and when i worked their hertz, enterprise, budget, alamo and dollar, didnt carry manuals cars, the only manuals any of these places carried where high end cars in LA and vegas and you had to put some money down. Now at least for the fleet I know in WA OR and CA they dont use manuals on any cars because every one has to drive them but not every one can drive stick.

Post by: rich on July 27, 2010, 08:26:15 PM it's all good fellas. had a friend use a dealer authorized carfax (more details than a customer carfax) and my title is 100% clean and i am the true 2nd owner. car was only a LEASE before me, never a rental. i asked the honda dealer too and they said they have heard of ebay's "autocheck" being inaccurate when they try to sell their OWN LOT cars on ebay! so they take them down because of that its not true
Title: anyone have a Carfax login i can use? Post by: rich on August 11, 2011, 10:12:50 PM i had my full carfax printed out and i have no idea where it went and a little pissed off that i lost it because i wanted to be able to show buyers interested my car is clean title.
