Title: Flood Scare Post by: clapton924 on June 16, 2010, 05:46:19 PM Few weeks ago New Orleans got about 4" of rain in 1 hour. Most of the city streets flooded and almost flooded my car. The street went from wet to what you see in roughly 40 minutes....I was asleep on a Sunday morning at 8am. Tiny bit of water got in the floor of the passenger side...nothing my wet/dry vac couldn't fix.

Shitty thing is that spot is right in front of my house....but its a low spot in the road. I've started parking on the other side of the street when the weather predicts heavy rain.
