I want to make this the "Official G7A Transferred Members Welcome" thread. Tell us how you were made aware of ECM i.e. "XXXXX" PMed me," "Web search," whatever.

I'll start off with saying I was made aware by Piero (ibcnunv) through PM on g7aspace. I haven't really turned back since except to make others aware.

Piero FTW! Thats where i got the PM too. I was glad to see that there was a new place that was like the old place.

I think it was Skippy or Tim that pointed me over here. That was almost a year ago.

I recall Tim having small advertisements of this forum in his signature pic in G7A last year, so I clicked on it.

i remembered seeing it on the old G7A but mike (lavalleemike) got me to come over

I am here and will be whipping the V6 section into shape, stay tunned.

i google "7th gen accord forum" and found v6p and g7a....g7a was > v6p until now and now elite cm > v6p > g7a > flaccord > driveaccord lol

This will be killer useful I've tried to post the stuff I know but, I don't think anyone knows the J series as well as you.

i found this place accidentally while googgling  for lip kit and saw a thread about bodykit, then i realized i've seen this similar discussion on the old g7a, then i looked and surprisingly saw a lot of g7a members from the old forum, So guess, it meant to be!! and also im not really digging the new g7a site, and i feel enclose and didnt have the same feelings compare to the old one. So guys im here to stay.

Joined April 13, 2008 when this was initially started and waited for it to come of age.

I remember Tim's link in his sig on the old gen7.  When gen7space came along and the site started to see some activity, I joined.

I think I visited sometime after joined G7a, and then after the "switch" I came here.

I think Tim might've told be like a year ago or maybe somebody else. But yeah it's good to see we're fully operational now cuz it's was hard to keep threads going with 4 members. LOL!

I found out about ECM when I joined G7A last summer, I noticed Tim’s signature picture link to this site.  I however never joined until now because this site was more like an archive on information not a chat room/social network so I respected it...

Found out bout it thru CrackerTeg. I got tired of seeing redundant questions like how do you change an air filter on the new forum   .

And that's why I am officially (as of 7:56PM EST) not a member of g7aspace anymore.

Looks like we keep getting more and more mebers on a daily basis.  Not much of a ghost town, IMHO.

i think the reason he said that (whoever the hell he is..)  is because on the home page when you're not logged in, you don't see any of the stuff that we can see when we're logged in..

I saw it on a thread in g7a. No longer a member there also ... I'm glad there's another place for getting info and knowledge about our cars.

Invite cool people Rolo.  I reserve the right to not allow people to join because they have either been troublemakers on the old site, or they just piss me off and I don't like them.

I seen someone mention this site in one of the forums on Gen7accord.net, and they said all the old heads are hear now, so since i was learning a lot from the DIY and most of the other forums from the old site i decided (needed) to join i still have a lot to learn and i have a lot of mods sitting in my room that need a DIY to install , so im here My names Enrique...

Totally feel you on that one, brah. I'm still trying to connect more people with ECM via mass texts, e-mails, and PMs.

I also noticed ECM through Tim's sig. Even though ECM is small, we can develop better relationships through this small community, which will soon become something better than gen7space ever was and will be.

I can't do that anymore since I deleted my account over there. But I did notice we picked up an extra 30 heads since I joined up. And the activity on here has vastly improved.

Got the link from new G7A forum , when some guy was bitchin about ECM and calling Tim and arsehole for banning him.  :)

LOL!!! It's funny that their bashing of the site over there is actually getting us more members. And all the old good ones too!

I guess more and more people are realizing that the bullshit those newbs are pulling won't fly over here.

Possibly. Depends on which ethics you're thinking of violating. It looks like g7aspace doesn't really have any ethics to be honest with you. And technically, its YOUR profile page. Post whatever you want.

i learned alot from the few people i've seen so far, and at gen7 its more than noticeable without you guys

i can see myself checking back in to see if anything popped up... def the parts for sale thread....
but besides that i need more of the forum back into the forum...

I like this site better then gen7 since it is more pro and it has all the important info. Gen7 has more stuff FS then it has info. and there been a lot of shady ppl joining just to sell stuff.

That's cuz even on the old gen7 there was only a handful of us that are serious. So the 100 or so we have is probably close to being it besides new people and people coming over from other forums. There maybe a few other straggler's left though.

Idk i haven't logged on in a while. but like sneaker heads thread and shit like that doesn't really contribute to the forum. just makes it even more of a social gathering place rather than an informational forum
