Title: Winter Mode De-activated!

Spent 6 hours doing some maintenance and a full interior/exterior detail....then had my friend Shawn bring over his Nikon DSLR.  Heres the results:

Thanks guys. De-winterizing felt AMAZING! It had been over a year since my car got a clay bar and wax but I am definitely happy with the results. I hear ya about the wing but as long as it keeps winning me trophies at shows I think it's gonna stay.

I am hoping to get more mods done this summer if I can get a "real" job that pays me more than minimum wage, namely a new VIS CF hood and upgrade my speakers.

That wing is winning you shows? I'm not a fan of the wing either!

It def helps! I'm not saying I am winning best in show, but I've placed in my class at every show I've been to. With the economy tanking shows have been non-existent for the past year and a half but it looks like things are starting to rebound with the scene now.

i say sel the wing, save up some $$ and get a CF hood and CF Trunk, will look better and you get you a trophy

Have you heard of Back to Black? Perfect for plastic trims. Looks like new but has to be reapplied every couple of weeks.

Ya I think I am going to tape them off very carefully and hit them with either black Krylon Fusion Plastic paint or use black Caliper paint.  That way once its done, I won't have to worry about it again for a long time.  When I do that, I also need to re-paint the wing endcaps, and touch up a few interior panels so ill just have a grand old painting day!

check out plasti dip, you can get at lowes and it is a plastic spray that will give you that "new" plastic look but not a glossy look like you would get from traditional spray paint.
