Title: The CM "Bucket List" Post by: striktlyaccord on March 15, 2010, 12:46:50 AM (Maybe this will make it to sticky status one day
![]() This is pretty straight forward. Share with the community those mods or projects that you've had on your "to-do" list for your ride for the longest time, but you've just never gotten around to yet due to money constraints, lack of time, procrastination (a big one for me), not enough experience, etc.. This isn't to say that these mods or projects are hoped to be done before you bite the dust (that'd be too depressing), but rather a discussion of those things that just haven't been taken care of and the clock is ticking away. It'll be interesting to see if some of us share the same to-do list and can help another member with crossing off an item from their own bucket list. Sometimes motivation from others is key to kicking procrastination in the behind. So, here's my list at the moment: 1. Custom-mount my Inspire-style fogs into my 03-05 front bumper 2. Remove coilovers so I can replace the corroded rubber spring seats and clean the threads 3. Get damage and paint imperfections on front & rear bumpers fixed 4. Fix yellowing of current headlights, or just buy a decent retrofit and hid them 5. Redo all the piping of my custom exhaust 6. Maybe get a new auto tensioner? 7. Maybe install a small, discrete subwoofer? 8. Maybe get re-tinted in a very light shade (50%)? Post away people... Title: Re: The CM "Bucket List" Post by: timot_one on March 15, 2010, 01:30:17 AM Here's the list of shit I have on deck right now. I'll even give my excuses.

And Tim, remember that you are always free to use my garage for your projects as long as we plan it out in advance. Also, haven't you been wanting to reconfigure your stereo setup in your trunk for like 3 years?? ![]() Title: Re: The CM "Bucket List" Post by: timot_one on March 15, 2010, 10:41:18 PM Thanks for the offer Dave. 2. Buy 06-07 6-speed sedan with black interior (a must!) , preferably with Navi, and in the following color in order of preference: Caron Bronze Pearl, Alabaster Silver, Blue (whatever it's called) 3. Install previous mods 4. Have Paul turn it into a J37 and boost it with an M90 supercharger. 5. Have Timmy do a kick-ass stereo install that looks 100% stock in the interior and super clean in the trunk. Arie's set-up that Tim did is my inspiration. Done. I work in the audio industry and tend to use proper/technical terms. Driver = Speaker I have 6.5" subs in my doors and the magnet is very big. I need to space the speakers out a little further because if I roll my windows down, they will hit the magnet on the driver. |
