I'm getting ready to buy a set of Tokico HP blue struts with springs but I need to be assured of the clearance. I want to get Neuspeed Race Springs which have a 2.25" front and 1.75" rear drop, will I rub on 19's with 235/35 tires? My 2nd choice was Tein S.Tech with a 1.8" front and 1.3" rear drop which I know a lot of you have and do clear but I want the biggest drop possible.

S tech's are good springs, I had them on stock shocks prior to getting my Tein SS coilovers. The drop is really nice, so I'd recommend the teins. I never rubbed with my 18's so I dont know how they'd affect 19's?

Well, what are the full specs of the wheels? With the Race spring drop, you may get away with a slight fender roll..

Only way to tell you if you will rub is to know the width and offset of the wheels.

well my rims are 9" wide and I measured from the flat surface where it touches when mounted to the inner most part of the rim and it was 6"...i don't know how to figure out the offset...hopefully that tells you what it is

well the wheel says M608 19x8JJ ET35 so 35 offset?....i measured the wheel myself and it actually measured 9"

I think the wheel width is measured from inside the outter beads...

Offset is the distance from the mounting holes to the center of the rim, easy way to measure this is measure from the mounting holes to the far end of the wheel, and then subtract half the wheel width

If you really want the maximum drop without rubbing, you may want to consider a set of adjustable coil overs instead. That way you can go as low as you want and adjust it if you rub.

thanks guys..now i know my offset too...I think I'm just gonna get the TEIN S.Tech just to be safe, I think it'll still look good

On your wheel, a 235mm tire will be good.
There are multiple things you can do to prevent rubbing. As Tim suggested, you can get coilovers to adjust ride height. You can also do some fender mods and you can play with camber settings.
If you want the Race springs, I wouldn't be afraid to get them. The coupe is more forgiving than the sedan and with those wheel specs, you should be fine. You may have to do a slight fender roll.

well my new toys arrived and here we go....went with the tokico struts and neuspeed springs...say goodbye to wheel gap, 6.5" Alpine Type S component speakers, JL Cleansweep (already had but needs reinstalled), and OBX oil catch can....I had a TSX im too but I installed that last week cause I couldn't wait

Those will drop your car without issues. Gen's coupe is on the same springs and we're running 18x8" wheels with a 30mm offset and a 225mm tire. Your set up with a wider tire but less aggressive offset should be about identical. We didn't roll the fender but then again it's running more camber in the back since we didn't get a camber kit for it yet.
