What's a good way to remove this without scratching the paint? Mine is starting to flake off in some areas.

same thing happened to me recently, i used a hair dryer to heat it up and then started using my finger nails to peel it away. i then used some invisible glass to wipe away any residue. then clay-barred the entire car the next time i washed it.

I might be wrong, but I would suggest using a heat gun with great care.

hair dryers and heat guns are two completely different things, a hair dryer puts out far less heat and will not hurt the paint.

A heat gun would be much faster than a hair dryer but, you would have to be careful.

I didn't even use heat. I just started peeling it with my fingernail. It was, however, a pain in the ass because it would break off every inch. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely use a hair dryer.

all of the stock pin stripes are basically a sticker, once heated up, they pull right off.

I let mine bake outside for a while then soaked it in GooGone. That seemed to work pretty well
