so my friend who drives a 3g eclipse asked me the other day if i waved to other 7th gens. i sorta thought about it for a second, and i realized ive never done that. i havent done it because everyone who drives a 7th gen in my community is usually a dad on their way to work and im pretty sure they would think im weird. he told me he only waves to eclipses that have some sort of exterior modification, which brings me to ask, do you wave at every 7th gen that you see? or just the ones that have some mods? or you dont wave at all?

I don't wave at 7th gens for the same reason you mentioned. Usually it's someone who bought it because it was a reliable economy car. Ones that are modded are too gangster for me to bother.

kinda similar to what bikers do; of all kinds from choppers to sports bikes.
i have seen a couple modified gen7's but theyre either on the other side of the freeway or its an old guy. ive recently seen some 7th and 8th gens that are lowered with some nice rims and its an old dude

Rather than waving, I "lightly" rev my engine or sound my horn for other Accords. But only those that are tastefully modded. Ones that ride on 30" rims make me wanna push them off the road though.

30" wont fit Arie, 26" will though, there is one in NYC based on youtube videos

OT: I won't wave unless it's got something done to the exterior, but as stated many times already, it's always grandparents riding around in accords in my area.

tastefully done accords are rare enough around me, so it never really comes up. chances are if i see one its probably one of you fools!

Usually no unless I know the other person. Not enough modded ones around my way and even less in the sand box when I get there.

When I had my 7th gen, I only waived to people I knew or modded 7th gens. I waive to everybody that has an s2k..
