Hey everyone,

Well spring is right around the corner so you know i have to set up my spring meet again..so here we go.

What:
East Coast Accords & Preludes Spring Meet 2010

BBQ - Lunch event,

General guidelines:
1. No alcohol consumption - But if you must please bring cups with lids
2. No burnouts, street racing, loud music - These are violations and will cost you a lot of money in fines and cost us as a group.
3. No engine revving - Self explanatory from #2 which can be constituted as street racing or "exhibition of speed"
4. Have fun - a venue to meet new people and make new friends

BRING TWO WAY RADIO'S if you have them bring them, the cell reception is no good at the park. Everyone should be on Channel 7. you will not be able to contact me on my cell, sometimes the text come thru and your phone will roam and die.

Lets get this thing rolling and if there is a problem with the date please dont be afraid to ask for another date, we have plenty of time to get this thing done right.

That's a low fucking blow. That could be the reason why I said count me as a maybe. Its too far out to say anyway. I'll more than likely go but I won't confirm until the date gets close.

it sounds like a long drive, but you will enjoy the drive, its a great place for pictures and for testing your cars suspension..lol a lot of twist in the mountains..so you have to come and have some fun..

I'm considering it. I should have new tires and a new front and rear lip for this meet. I've already got the approval from the boss for those paticular mods. As for the twisties, I'd have to take it a bit slow since the fam will most likely be coming with.

This is a ways out and things might change, but put me down as coming for now. I had a blast at the last prelude accord meet and would like to make the trek down again. This time I am staying away from the LI Ferry I dont want anymore torn bumper tabs....fucking dick ferry guy......

jdmaccord, I will be rolling down to this from NH so if you want to caravan let me know. Also, depending on when Tim is leaving to go to this we could caravan with him as well.

Well I guess for us NYCM/TCC/Honda Nation guys it will be best to take this route from uptown:

Driving directions to 896 Orange County 106, Southfields, NY 10975
38.0 mi – about 44 mins (up to 55 mins in traffic)

Suggested routes

Palisades Interstate Pkwy
38.0 mi 44 mins
55 mins in traffic
(about 6 tolls this way)

I-87 N

(only 1 ($1.25) toll going and 2 ($1.25 and $5.00) going back)

How late are you guys planning on being out there for? My plans have changed a bit, and I may be able to come down after the shop fixes my exhaust. My guess is that I'll probably get there around 1-2 PM if I leave in time.

The original plan was for the Bk/Queens guys to meet the NYC/Bronx guys along the way @ Target by 10AM. We can regroup and roll out together deep! Alsothis is a great opportunity to pick up some last minute things ie: soda, buns, mustard,ketchup etc. for the bbq. It is a small rooftop location with and excellent view of the bridge and the city skyline or that urban city backdrop for a photoshoot.

you can take the cross bronx right into the Major Deegan towards Albany and literally you will be 3 exits away... get off @ 231st, make a right at the light then a quick right onto Bailey Avenue and go straight down to 225th and make a right then a left into parking area. BECAREFUL the cross bronx is pot hole city.... especially getting onto the major deegan.

"da hill" is not a meet spot because of the major potholes on that hill since winter... that's why I picked Target. If you get off at that exit and stay straight to Broadway make the right ging towards that car wash I took you to and take that strip straight across the little bridge going into the bronx and make the first right off the bridge on 225th. Target is right there 5 minutes away from "da hill"

Again Bk/Queens will meet NYC/BX guys by 10AM at:

Not in the Bronx about 30 minutes away ...FDR State Park (http://www.runner.org/fdr.htm) It's 6.00 admission per car for the park itself, Pool is close to picninc area which is $2.00 pp $1.00 per child. BTW guys I had a freaking awsome time despite my allergies.... The rooftop or should I say downtop meet was awesome, the aerial shots great.... the coke bottle torpedoing down and almost killing Sam (stillloco) priceless. The park was great to minus the 12 mile search for a bathroom lolzzz wtf was that about!

Wish I had more at the park but it was a rounded area and a restroom house (which was locked) smack in the middle so it was hard to get pics.

This was a great time, and a perfect way to start off the season! Sorry I brought the cops though... :oops:

Just glad I got there before them or else I would have been totally lost lol

Next time I will have to make sure I wake up on time so I can hang out longer then 2 hours... lol Luckily it was a perfect day for driving with 0 traffic so I was able to cruise right on down and enjoy the drive. Bear Mountain was incredible! Such a fun little stretch of road with amazing views.

It was great seeing everyone again, and meeting a whole bunch of new people! I cannot wait for the next meet.

Enrique, thank you again for meeting up with Nick and grabbing that sway bar for me! You are the man!

Jason, it was great finalllly getting to see the car, which is AWESOME btw... So Clean.

Billl, those twin pics look sick! Its crazy how much our cars look alike, cant wait till you finish your project, more twin pics will be in order then!

Joe, thanks for organizing this! Both E.C.A.P. Meets I have gone to have been such a good time. I cannot wait for the next one!

p.s. Great pics Jason and Billy! Wish I had been at that roof top shoot, that looks awesome!! Cant wait for Arie to stop playing with his ass ticks and post up some pics lol j/p

My license is still fresh lol..... when I saw the speed we were going at I was like chill. I kept catching up at the tolls though haha....once we paid that 2nd toll I knew where I was straight cruising to my crib after that. Fun driving and trying to keep up with you dude. That CAI sounds sickkk.
