Thank you so much. With your support, along with other friends and family + my own donations, I was able to purchase over $400 in toys for Saturday's Toys for Tots (see this thread = viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2256 (http://elitecm.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2256" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;))

I am making one last toy run on Friday night, as I have a little bit still left to spend, but there are going to be some happy kids come Christmas morning. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Please reach out and hug your loved ones and be thankful for the freedom we live in and celebrate whatever is positive in your life.

That's awesome dude. I'm glad there was that much of a help from everyone here and your friends and family, not to mention yourself. I wish there could be pics posted of those smiling kids' faces. That would make my day.

I just donated.  This thread should not only go to thank the members that have donated, but also you, Scott.  THANK YOU for your time and effort for buying toys!  Not only is money important when donating, but time is just as important.

I really wish I had the money to donate, because I totally would have.  I am teh suck.

There are plenty of times throughout the year to donate.  There are also multiple ways to donate.  I think donating time helps out a lot too.  An hour or two at a soup kitchen or a visit to some kids that have to spend time at the hospital during the holiday season means a lot.  Maybe ask an organization, such as Toys for Tots, if you can volunteer time to deliver the presents?

I have no time either!!  Good points though Mark.  I do what I can to help out throughout the year in other areas.  Now I don't feel so bad.  Thanks Mark and thanks Scott for trying to make this holiday season better for others.

I think it's fantastic that you help throughout the year in other areas.  I think it is great that people help during the holidays, but people need help all year long.  Definitely don't feel bad for not being able to give at this time of year.  People are busy, and people have unexpected expenses.  You definitely make up for it throughout the year, and those times don't go unnoticed.

I had the fun part! I got to go shopping for TOYS! I mean, who the heck doesn't like doing that. Saturday will be a blast!

Thank again everyone. I am exhausted from this week. I just got back from a business trip in California where the high was 40 and it rained everyday. I have this ridiculous head and chest cold and running around all week for this and other things as well has been crazy. I would do it again in a heart beat. So many of you have opened your wallets, even if just a few dollars, to help lots of kids out this holiday. I only wish I could be there when all the kids get the gifts. Nevertheless, thank you so much!
