Today me and Nick started detail on this 2009 Black BMW 335d. car only has 1700 miles on it. rear quarter panel was repainted( i think he said it was in accident or something, something minor) well, idiots that fixed it apparently dont know how to do paint finish. you will see result of their work later

OK. Nick washed the car with CWC and i cleaned floor mats and wheels while he did that. then we taped whole car off, removed plates.
it was all we did friday.
Saturday we only worked  on car for couple hours i think(forgot what we did Saturday)
Sunday we did rear, roof and driver side doors. sealed wheels
Tuesday we finished the car, Nick put black fire on to cure overnight, then gona be another coat today and 845 on top couple hours later.

Notes: paint is Jet Black, pretty easy to fix, but couple times had to do 2 passes with SIP and then 203
all plastic painted parts (bumpers and side skirts) are pita to fix, they seem to have harder paint which we were not able to correct 100% but about 90%. even with wool pad it didnt make perfect. maybe paint is softer and easy to put deep scratches in.


i did enjoy working on this couse it was black and results of work are easily shown.

several kinds of wheel brushes with P21s wheel gel
P21S TAW on floor mats
CG CWC
q-tips
lake country sponge
poor boys wheel sealant
203 with orange pad
SIP with yellow
PFW with SIP on rear bumper only (still scratches present but nowhere near as much, they looked to be deep once)
2 coats for black fire sealant and 1 coat of 845 will be done by tonight before customer pics up the car

Awesome job restoring that paint to it's full potential.  I love the entrance mat too!

Black cars a biotch, good job on this one!  I can't believe the amount of swirls and holograms for such a new car!

Milan, somebody decided to take rotary to it without knowing what they were doing. i seem swirls on doors only after taking pics with flash, other side was not nearly as bad

Looks great.  

One question, how come you taped off the door handles?

so when you work around them, edge of backing plate or velcro of pad doesnt damage that part of handle

So I guess you just do the handles by hand then?

mostly by hand. specialy inside of handles you have to do by hand, no other way to do it. i mean outside you do with buffer but thats after door is done and do face with buffer and rest by hand
