Title: New Truck... Post by: exelr8 on November 22, 2009, 07:04:31 PM Well Guys, I have been thinking about selling or trading the Honda for a while now ever since the last wreck I was in. Well, Friday I took the evening off from work and my Dad was going to go vehicle shopping with me and I was on my way to a friends car lot to look at a dodge truck and Spotted this thing at Pye Acura and immediately turned around. After a few hours of test driving and negotiating I had all the paperwork with my deal ready to go and left the lot in my new(to me) 2003 Ford F250. It is a 2wd Lariat with a 3 ich Fabtech suspension Lift, and 20 Inch Weld racing wheels. After it was all said and done, I got the truck for $17,300 and the value of the truck is roughly 20k before the 3500 worth of wheels, tires, and lift... I do plan on staying with ECM Even though I traded the accord in on the truck. You guys have been Great to me and I hope to still be allowed to post and participate(within reason haha). I have been os Busy lately, plus the weather has not be that great So I have not had a chance to take some good pictures with my camera to post but here is the pic I took with my phone on the test drive...

Title: Re: New Truck... Post by: CrackerTeg on November 22, 2009, 08:07:39 PM +1. Once family, always family. Congrats on the pick up (can you see the double meaning?).
Title: Re: New Truck... Post by: exelr8 on November 22, 2009, 08:51:33 PM Thanks guys =] And No, Z, I cannot see the double meaning, I think I can but i am not sure. I am tired and sick. We were in marion county(one county up/ we mutual aid with them since we have a dive team and rescue boats.) until 3 this morning on a tripple drowning. still no word on the 3 victims. they were too close and decided to stay when they heard the warning for the spillways at the dam and the undertow pulled them in and crushed the boat... We found pieses of the boat 5 miles down river
Title: Re: New Truck... Post by: CrackerTeg on November 22, 2009, 09:32:10 PM Oh wow. I've been there with regards to drowning victims. Not fun. You need anything, we're here man. More specifically, I'm here if you need it.

Post by: Jeff Likes Bagels on November 23, 2009, 10:12:19 AM I came close to getting a 2002 Ford F250 V10 that had an 8 inch lift with like 40" tires, lol. Needless to say, I realized how stupid that would have been for a first car, and ended up getting the Accord.

And Thanks to you personally Z, I have grown accustom to the late nights and freezing my ass off... Today I was sitting in a meeting of our motorsports club and was a nominee in the running for president of the motorsports club and really kinda wanted it but got called out on a possible drowning and when we got there we found out we were misinformed and some people on kayaks had found a dead body so we were out there for hours and in the heat of the moment I forgot my jacket and got soaked by wake on the way to the scene. So, needless to say, I feel even worse haha. So Far I am loving the truck, not the best on mileage, but damn the girls love it haha. my folks are going to buy me a dashmount programmer for christmas.. one the wildest setting it will give me 100hp and 200ftlb of torque haha and it has an economy setting which I plan to stay in haha Title: Re: New Truck...
