I've heard it's not very good what was your thought on it outside of the scary factor?

i kinda like those kinda movies. when they do it that way, it makes it more believable.

I saw it last weekend and I thought it was good. It wasn't your typical blood, guts, crazy special effect everywhere horror movie. This was very suspenseful and I liked how it looked as if it were a home movie.

I've heard split opinions. Some have said it's the scariest thing they've ever seen and some said it was ok. I guess if you're expecting blood and guts and just get suspense you'll probably think it sucked. Either way I cant see it til dvd cuz Ash doesnt do scary. Hell, I cant believe I'm getting her to go on a haunted trail this weekend!

I am going to see it tomorrow at a late showing. I like scary movies even thought they never scare me. I've been debating creating a Movie Review/discussion thread for a while. We should make one.

saw it a few weeks ago..... nice pseudo marketing scheme by telling everyone it was only in select cities...and to go on their website and vote for it to come to your hometown.... it was all a BS scheme to get more $ i hear
amazing how all of a sudden its in theaters everywhere

movie was decent at best.... creepy as SHIT i may add... if i wake up and see my girl staring at me during the night i may knock her out and run for the accord haha
good special effect....good chills factor.... def scary as hell if yur into the whole paranormal thing

we gave it a 6 out of 10.... very sudden ending.... no opening credits....no closing credits.... half the ppl in the theater didnt even know the movie was over.. this movie was probably made with $5000 tops
i suggest quarantine...that was a pretty scary flick

^They claimed they put $15K into it and made it in his house. I'm sure Quarantine was scary in the theaters but when I watched it on cable I was like ehhhh

it was LAME!  very predictable, and not very scary...it is compared to blair witch, but blair witch is much better

does anybody watch Ghost Hunters on SyFy?  awesome show and it makes me want to see this movie

good show!  shitty movie!  I can't express enough how shitty this movie was...unless I have high expectations...but I didn't even hear of the movie till the minute my sister called me up and was like, "I need you to go see this with me..." so I had no preconceived notions of the film whatsoever!

Ghost Hunters is a sick show!

I am surprised so many people didnt like the movie. I like scary movies but always end up laughing through them and VERY rarely get spooked but this did a good job of giving my goosebumps and being pretty damn creepy and suspenseful.

The marketing ploy was pretty sick as NWINNIE34 mentioned. It only opened in a few theaters for about a week and to get it to open more you had to go online and "Demand it". The reason it opened everywhere is because supposedly 1 million people requested it.

Ghost Hunters is an amazing show! I've actually met the "cast" a few times, and they are really cool people. Most of them are actually from the town I grew up in.

I'm usually the same way with scary movies...I laughed alot through this one only because the guy is such a douche bag...I kept waiting for the chicks GINORMOUS tits to fall out...they didn't...only part that I like was how mr. douche bag was tossed into the camera

haha completely agree, the guy was a douche and that was pretty funny, and yes that chick had HHUUGGEE tits and I did find myself hoping they would fall out as well. Had that happened I would upgrade this movie from pretty good to great lol.

It was ok. I just got out of it. I have a ton of windows in my house and it was a bit creepy walking through with all the lights out.

I pretty much laughed throughout the movie. Just when I was alone in the dark at midnight, I got the chills. I wouldnt see it again. If you are able to get into scary movies, go see it. But, if you over analyze everything like me, dont mess with it. There were tons of people screaming and leaving. Oh, and yes that girl had some BOOBIES

the movie was pretty good but not until the end. I downloaded the non-threater 1. The beginning it was TALK TALK TALK all I did was look at the girl boobs and got smacked by GF. Then I rested my head on my gf boobs for half the movie. lol anyways near the middle was where it got interesting. I like the part where the ghost was fucking with them and drags his GF out of bed. Next day got this mark on her. The ending I got was retarded. I want to go to the theater to see the good ending.


After the movie I couldn't sleep. Felt like there something watching over me. lol I looked it up and it was all fiction so that was a sigh of relieve.

It wasnt wat i expected , kinda was dissappointed, thought it wouldve been scarier , and i love horror...u wanna see something scary watch Evil Dead in the dark alone lol...

haha I def thought that for a little while, in some scenes they did look similar.

finally got around to seeing this movie and i def give it a THUMBS UP.  it was pretty solid.  not scary in the traditional gorey sense, but anybody who saw it has got to admit it has a pretty good suspense element that keeps you guessing (assuming you didnt watch a million trailers and read all the spoilers online).  

plus i saw it on halloween night and the theater was packed with people screaming and jumping out of their seats throughout the movie.  all in all - a good movie going experience which is all you can really ask for.
