Title: ultra racing bracing Post by: neoryan7 on October 28, 2009, 01:30:49 AM Anyone think the tsx rear subframe brace will work? the front ones from the tsx work.

Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: Icebox on October 28, 2009, 06:59:01 AM i have one, i felt that it gave the car a stiffer ride (less roll).
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: CrackerTeg on October 28, 2009, 08:27:49 AM I might be interested Dave. How low does it hang?
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: Slammedk24 on October 28, 2009, 09:25:50 AM I remember my buddy pu one on his Si, and it made a world of difference. You could tell it stiffened everything up immediately
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: Icebox on October 28, 2009, 12:26:01 PM Quote from: "CrackerTeg" I might be interested Dave. How low does it hang? about a 1/4 to 1/2 an inch below the cat. after i modded my exhaust the cat was rubbing it when i shifted making an annoying noise so i just removed it. if my car saw a track i would put it right back on. Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: timot_one on October 28, 2009, 12:55:03 PM I was looking at those also. I'm pretty sure it would fit because of the similarities between the suspensions. It may not fit because of the differences between the coupe and the sedan though.
David, are you talking about the front chassis brace, or the rear chassis brace? Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: neoryan7 on October 28, 2009, 01:34:27 PM ^ i think hes talking about the front. he mentioned the cat
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: Icebox on October 28, 2009, 02:30:45 PM front, its a cusco type II lower frame brace.
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: timot_one on October 28, 2009, 03:37:20 PM That's what I thought since you mentioned clearance with the cat. Mine is the same way, but my cat clears with my exhaust system and the Cusco Type II brace. Back on topic though, I would love to find out if it works with the coupe. I'd get one for my sedan if I could justify spending the money right now.
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: neoryan7 on October 28, 2009, 03:46:31 PM ^ Same here maybe after my big project is done ill give it a try.
It looks like it fits, the majority of the rear of the tsx is very similar. They use a different subframe however but again they look very similar. Maybe if the cars have similar rear wheelbases it has more of a chance to fit. Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: rip_cord on October 28, 2009, 11:46:27 PM Hmmm, that's really interesting. I remember Summit use to sell a two point brace and have been waiting for someone to remake them.
This is even better. Good find!!! Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: Knocturnal84 on October 29, 2009, 12:03:20 PM is this still up for sale

Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: timot_one on January 28, 2010, 07:59:10 AM Right here Ryan! There's about 4 products that I want to get from them. BTW, I love the UR "Show Girl"!
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: MyNameIsThien on January 28, 2010, 07:39:37 PM Count me in. I've been eyeing thise for awhile. I just didn't want to pay so much for it. Heeltoe isn't the cheapest place to buy parts.

BTW, I love the UR "Show Girl"! :)) , what are you looking to get? I'm really interested in the rear brace. If you move the back seat down you can see the bolts shift at least 10mm. I also want the fender brace, and the cusco style under brace and the side brace, Hell, I want all of them haha. My greatest concern is clearance. From heel toes web, the TSX is definately hindered. Maybe if we shave the mounts a little we can tuck it in a few more mm. Quote from: "MyNameIsThien" Count me in. I've been eyeing thise for awhile. I just didn't want to pay so much for it. Heeltoe isn't the cheapest place to buy parts. Yeah, true, I asked him if he could get them and he said he would. Maybe we can get them from here: http://ultraracingusa.com/ (http://ultraracingusa.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) They have a dealers list and such but I don't even know where to start ![]() Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: TheGrayCM on February 03, 2010, 02:54:31 AM Quote from: "timot_one" Right here Ryan! Im pretty down for a group buy if it ever come down to it ![]() Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: rjp6262 on February 11, 2010, 12:07:35 PM would these fit a coupe?
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: cna on February 12, 2010, 01:18:20 AM Quote from: "rjp6262" would these fit a coupe? Same thing i was thinking ![]() Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: neoryan7 on February 12, 2010, 04:47:45 AM I am pretty sure it would. Coupes and sedans use all the same suspension components, camber kits, strut bars, swaybars, Tsx cusco underbrace so I would be really confident in it fitting I am a coupe also.
Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: MyNameIsThien on February 12, 2010, 08:01:04 PM It does. I have the Cusco Type II brace on my coupe.

Title: Re: ultra racing bracing Post by: MyNameIsThien on February 12, 2010, 11:32:47 PM You really can't feel the difference unless you really push your car real hard. Its a nice mod to have when you are doing some Auto X or Track racing.
