Sux monkey balls....this cold weather can go shove itself up its own ass. I miss 90 and sunny everyday, but I am also enjoying being back and trying to get my squad going again. Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ashley on October 15, 2009, 08:12:22 PM yay for 3 of us and I really dont even count any more so it's more like 2.5 lol
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: Accord Euro-R on October 15, 2009, 09:22:12 PM Its Ok Ashley you still count. Brian still counts too even though he can't drive anymore. I am slowly gaining some members but they are having a hard time making their way over here.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ashley on October 18, 2009, 06:03:32 PM haha thanks Ben! I retract my statement then, there are 3 of us!

Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: Accord Euro-R on October 25, 2009, 09:31:22 PM Ya don't even get me started on that shit. Pathetic! Although the beatdown we issued Minnesota this week showed that last week was clearly a fluke, not a trend.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: unclejud49348 on October 29, 2009, 09:56:46 PM I might be moving to Richmond, IN soon and I think thats on the IN, OH border so I might be active on here. How big is the Accord scene in OH? Cuz I'm looking at Indiana and I don't see any members from there..

Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: Autodesigner3 on February 25, 2010, 10:57:24 PM so any of you guys goin to the CanAm cruise in June?
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on December 03, 2010, 11:43:55 PM Alright guys. I'm invading your squad indefinitely. I got a new job and will be relocating to the Dayton area. What now bitches? You better shape the fuck up. :flip:
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on December 09, 2010, 12:09:00 PM Srsly? You guys are fucking lame.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: Accord Euro-R on January 12, 2011, 08:33:32 PM Haha ya Tim, membership here has severely fallen off. Ashley is getting married so I never hear from her anymore, Brian sold his car, Jake sold his car, no one else ever gets on here or OhioAccords.com anymore. Its like everyone seriously died.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on January 12, 2011, 08:49:28 PM Ryan and I have been talking recently. Anyway, I'm going to be flying in next week on Wednesday and flying back on Saturday. From the discussions I've had with my boss, I may be coming out to OH the 2nd week of February. The problem right now is that I'm not in my territory in Ohio, so I can only train so much out here in Massachusetts. I just want to find a place and get out there already. It's like I'm in limbo and my life is on hold until I get to Ohio.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ryans7thgen on January 13, 2011, 10:25:49 PM If you are 21+ we(OHPOC.org) are having our annual Christmas party this Sat. (1-15-11). Starts around 5 and ends whenever. It is being held at my house (pm me for address if you want to come.) It is BYOB and it is a pot-luck so please bring a snack(nothing crazy just something to munch). There will be a showing of the new 2010 OHPOC dvd. It is the perfect event to get to know the members and get an over view of what we do throughout the year.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on January 13, 2011, 11:25:12 PM I'll be there next year Ryan. ;)
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on January 21, 2011, 03:09:35 PM It's official. I found a place in Troy today. It's about 15 minutes north of Dayton. I'm moving in on February 15th.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ryans7thgen on February 13, 2011, 12:50:40 PM The OHPOC.org spring meet is May 7. We are not sure what the main event is yet but there will be a party Saturday night. We are looking at either a dyno day or another photo scavenger hunt. I will update when new info is available.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on February 13, 2011, 05:50:13 PM I'm in for that. I'm pretty sure I'll be in town that week. Get ready for me in 2 days Ryan!!
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: Accord Euro-R on February 15, 2011, 04:41:20 PM Welcome to Ohio Tim! Hope the move is going well for you. At least you got some halfway decent weather to move in and not the 0 to -5 lows we had last week. Lemme know when you are up and running!
Ryan - When is the NSX coming back out? Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ryans7thgen on February 15, 2011, 07:17:42 PM I no longer have it. Sold it to pay some bills and got the Accord turboed. Might get another one in a couple of years.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on February 16, 2011, 03:48:05 PM I'm officially here. I picked up the keys to my place yesterday morning, parked my car in the garage, and drove to MI to pick up my work vehicle and a few things from my parents house. It kinda sucks because I literally have no furniture. I just have a bed and a TV stand. Once I get the rest of my stuff out from MA in a few weeks, we're probably going to have a house warming party.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: jdmaccord on February 16, 2011, 03:51:35 PM you switching to Ohio Plates or keeping the MI plates?
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on February 16, 2011, 03:55:12 PM Not sure yet. Ohio requires a front plate. I may keep the MI plate.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: gargantula99 on February 16, 2011, 04:08:05 PM Stick with Michigan. I had PA plates for a while, till I had to renew my registration. PA doesn't have front plates but NY does. So hate it right now. Are you doing the front bumper change anytime soon?
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on February 16, 2011, 04:21:55 PM Actually, I am.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: Accord Euro-R on February 19, 2011, 04:43:19 PM Not sure yet. Ohio requires a front plate. I may keep the MI plate. I would keep the MI plate. Ohio does require a front plate....but most cops won't pull you over for it, unless they are small town, suburb cops who have nothing better to do. Now that my 05 is a pleasure vehicle, I took my front plate off and will not be putting it back on. The tactic most of us use is to keep the front plate in the glove box or next to your seat, if you get pulled over just throw it up in the dash. Or band it to your passenger side visor and just flip it down. Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: gargantula99 on February 19, 2011, 06:38:01 PM I never thought about banding it uP to passenger visor.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on February 19, 2011, 10:14:36 PM That's kinda ghetto. I think I may have a solution. Either way, I've got a little bit of time. Right now I need to get my license in OH. My MI one is about to expire.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ryans7thgen on February 25, 2011, 07:24:12 PM If the cop wants to push the issue both on the dash and on your visor are not legal either. I has to be displayed on the front of the vehicle. My old neighbor was a Columbus cop and said that it states that it is to be on the front of the car. He would actually pull people over in certain parts of town if they had it there. Drug dealers commonly keep their front plate there.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ryans7thgen on March 07, 2011, 08:06:48 PM Upcoming events:
1: Columbus Racing Spring drag day at National Trails Raceway:Fri. April 22nd http://cr-sm-spring11.eventbrite.com/ (http://cr-sm-spring11.eventbrite.com/) (I already have the time requested off.) 2: Cross Promoting this. I plan on being at this. Will be putting Ole' Blue on the dyno. 2011 Ohio Hondas Spring Meet @ 1st Annual Horizon Audio Dyno Day for Dogs & Cruise-In Here are the final details...finally. We have changed the name, to accomodate our new cause, the Stark County Humane Society. Canned food drives are definitely a good cause, but this is a cause that is near and dear to some of our hearts, and after some personal experience with them lately, it seems like they're DEFINITELY in need of some help. DATE: Saturday, May 14th, 2011 LOCATION: Horizon Audio 5480 Whipple Ave NW Canton, OH 44720 (right off of the Belden Village exit on Rt 77) ADMISSION: -can or bag of dog food, money, blankets, bowls, leashes, etc...they're not picky. This is NOT mandatory, but it is HIGHLY appreciated. There aren't any armed guards chasing you down if you don't bring anything, but please do what you can...a little goes a long way. DESCRIPTION/TENTATIVE SCHEDULE (times subject to change): 10am- 12pm Noon -Poker Run: 10am to NOON. (Free to enter, and we should have goodie bags from Summit for participants) *starts at Horizon Audio, eventually returning there. *open to all vehicles 12pm Noon- 7pm? -DJ (with good music for once) -Cruise-In/Ohio Hondas Spring Meet: This is a hang-out type environment like any other meet before it, where everyone can come and not be hassled...so please don't ruin it by the following: BURN-OUTS, FIGHTS, DRUGS, DRINKING, BOUNCING OFF THE REV LIMITER, ETC. I apologize if you can't go without drinking for the better half of a day, but if you can't, please don't come. -2WD & AWD Dyno provided by SlowMotion Motorsports (BIG thanks to Joe & Marty!) $40 for 3 runs for 2WD, $65 for AWD. -Motorcycle Dyno - Provided by Horizon Audio, $20 a run. -Food stands (details will be updated eventually) -Manufacturers (Audio & Performance) are in the works... INVITED: -OhioHondas -All other imports -Domestics -Bikes *all groups will be partitioned off tentatively... To reiterate, there is never a concrete idea/location for a Spring Meet, so we figured if we could get more than the usual 20-30 cars that usually show up (i.e. other cars too), we could get a little bit more out of the event, and at the same time provide a spot for the OH Spring Meet. Two birds...onestone. As you can see, there is pretty much something for everyone. There are restaurants and mall shopping within walking distance, or a 1 minute car ride at most for signifcant others that don't want to do the car thing all day. Also, a buddy of mine and I are getting tuned on Sunday, and if you want a private tune, there might be time for 1 or 2 other tunes at my house on sunday afternoon (in N. Canton) by SlowMo...I will find out, this is for a full tune, not $40 dyno runs. Any questions that you don't want up here, email DynoDayForDogs@gmail.com. Look forward to seeing everyone that can make it! 3: Torqued Racing Solutions is sponsoring two track days at Nelson Ledges Sun June 12 and Sun Oct 23 Cost is $100 per event. http://www.torquedracing.com/ (http://www.torquedracing.com/) There is preregistration is up for the June event 4: Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand Prix June 24-26 The featured marque is Porsche This is a fun and laid back event. Several of us from OHPOC.org will be going to this for the Sat and Sun events. We will also be camping Sat night. There are 3 more car races at Mid-Ohio this season but I am only listing event for the upcoming months so that people can get ready to go to some of these if they would like. I will put up details about later events and they get a little closer. I will try to answer any questions that you may have. Just pm me. Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: timot_one on March 08, 2011, 12:46:41 AM I should be in for most of these as long as I have the extra cash for the events that cost money.
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: Accord Euro-R on March 16, 2011, 11:23:24 PM I am def in for the Dyno Day in Canton and would love to get my car out to the track. Ryan, remind me, which one of these tracks is the 1/8 mile and which one is the 1/4 mile?
Title: Re: OHCM Squad Post by: ryans7thgen on March 17, 2011, 06:01:26 PM National Trails is 1/4mile and Nelson Ledges is about 2.1 miles.
