Hahaha. You guys. I think the timing was right as far as I'm concerned. I proposed last Sunday when we were driving back from a vacation we took to MI so we could visit my family. We were driving back and stopped for breakfast at Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. After breakfast we took a walk in the park so we could take some pictures and I found a nice spot with a view of the falls in front of some flowers, where I dropped to one knee to propose. We've been together a little over 2 years and have been living together a little over 1 year now. Now we will enjoy being engaged for a while as we are saving up for the wedding and honey moon.

No. That is the most popular question to date. It has only been a week, so it's a bit early to be able to answer that question. As far as the wedding is concerned, all we know is that it will probably be in the late summer in 2 years on a beach on Cape Cod. Other than that, everything is up in the air.

I kept it from everyone actually. My parents didn't even know that I was going to propose. I was planning on proposing on the way out to MI, but that wasn't in the cards for us and I didn't want this to be anything rushed. I didn't tell my parents because I didn't want them acting weird while we were there. If you really want to come all the way out here, be my guest. Considering that we will be having a late summer wedding on Cape Cod with a clam bake on the beach, we are trying to keep the guest list small.

You guys aren't actually coming? I do recall mentioning that Robyn wants to keep it small and under 100 people. We do not have a date set yet, but it will probably be about 2 years from now in the late summer. If you guys really really really want to come, just PM me and I'll make sure to include you on the guest list and send out an invitation. Think of it as a beach day with a wedding though.
