Whats there to update besides my AEM V2. I got the AEM V2. I got it used for $66 shipped of of eBay. The seller originally painted it black. Did not like that so I attempted to paint it SSM. Paint job came out alright. Oh wells.

how was fitment of the trunk?

The Fitment isn't that great. I got it used from LittleTruong for $350 shipped, who got it from Spec 7, who got it from Kevin (Synergy) from the old G7A.

Nice profile Thien! It would be nice to know if you hava proper Inspire bumper fitment in your future for and paint to match. It's probably not as hard as it looks. I love what you've done with the car. It is one of a kind.

As for proper Asian Accord bumper fitment, its not going to happen. The reason behind it is because the bumper is from a sedan. The sedan bumper is slightly shorter on the width, but it sticks further out in the front. As for the paint, depending on how much I get back on my tax return, there will be a new paint job going into it. Stay Tuned.

I guess not much can be done. I was thinking of maybe a bodywork project, but looks like it would be more a mess than a masterpiece.

The body work can be done to make it fit, it's just a matter of skill and money.

Whats the Name of that blue brace under the car any part number for that? sick looking car  are you running on the stock clutch with that supercharger?

Its an automatic. The brace is a Cusco Type 2 Lower Arm brace from the TSX.

It handles really well. I would like to go lower, but that is another project down the road.

I hope you plan to change your AT fluid at 15K miles for now on as well as the filter, the tourqe is going to be hard on it, if interested I can help you witht the partsd I use to add a external cooler and get rid of the heat exchanger.

The Accord has been giving me problems left to right. Tranny blew, needs a new ECU (P2227 Barometric Circuit Pressure Range Performance Failure), TCS light is on (Left Rear and Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Malfunction), TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) has been giving me problems (rpm jerks around 4000rpm until V-TEC is engaged after 5500rpm), Brakes are squeeling for some odd reason, Drive side door lock actuator is stuck, Passanger window regulator does not roll up windows during cold days, Driver side window switch is stuck (takes 3-5 trys to roll up or down window), P2195 and P2197 Bank 1 and Bank 2 Sensor 1 Stuck Lean.

Dang man, sorry to hear about your problems with the car.  Do you think the blown tranny has anything to do with the supercharger?

More and likely, Yes. Honda automatic transmission are built poorly. It can only handle so much power and torque. The SC took it to its limit, and the SC won.

That's too bad Thien. I'd say go with the Fit. I was looking at those before I picked up my Accord, but I personally would swap a K20 ASAP into the Fit. For being as small as it is, its surprisingly roomy. And rather fun to throw around even though its underpowered.

I believe that you have to modify the firewall to shoehorn a K20 into a Fit.  Their engine compartment is extremely small.  My gf has one and I don't even want to attempt anything in that itty bitty engine bay.  Sorry to hear about your misfortune Thien.  I wish there was more I could do to help.

Tim, there's mount kits available for it. There's a bunch of guys running JRSCed K20s in Fits. Either way, sorry to get OT. Thien, hopefully you figure out what you want to do. Me personally, I try to keep a vehicle until it dies. But like you said, a coupe isn't exactly conducive to a family. Let us know what you decide man.

If I do get a 6MT, it will be a 03 CL-S or 07-08 TL Type S tranny. Does anyone know if the 04+ TL-S has LSD?

Its not a 04+ tl-s its a 07-08 tl-s and I believe they do have LSD. .

I know that the 07-08 TL Type S has LSD as well as the 2003 CL Type S, but someone stated over on V6P that the 04+ TL-S has LSD. I'm not to sure on this.

No doubt bro. But I don't believe they made a tl-s for 04-06.but they did make a 6mt.

They did make a TL-S, but it wasn't a Type S. This where people get mixed up in. There is a TL-S and a TL Type S. The Type S wasn't introduce to the 3rd Gen TL until 2007. Now, the TL-S is the sport version of the TL from 04-06. The TL-S had the upgraded suspension and a 6MT.

From what Paul told me the other day every TL 6spd has LSD.

It's kid friendly! The front airbag turns off if they sit in the front :), gl with your tl tranny search.

I dont know if you're just looking locally but there's a guy here in VA that is selling a TL 6speed. In fact I think it's sitting at Paul's house.

Understandable. You can always have him buy the replacements and you install it to call it good and not really have any down time. Then again, I really don't have any idea how the painter is going to fix the problem.

How are you liking the FR-S so far?  Hows it compare to the Accord?

I like the FR-S a lot. Compared to the Accord, its very easy to manuever, steering is really responive, and handling is really good. I don't like thats its way under powered. I know it has 2 less cylinders, but it could use a little more "umph". I do miss the luxury of the Accord. The heated seats and steering wheel controls, but I sacrificed that for the lightweightness and agility of the car. The FR-S bucket seats are really comfortable if you are an average size person. If you are on the husky side, it won't bold so well for you. The 6MT FR-S compared to the 6MT Accord is a big difference. The clutch on the FR-S has very light weight. Depressing the clutch is very easy, and it grabs at a good mid range. Shifting is very short. Almost like it already has a short shifter in it. The Accord throws were quite long compared to the FR-S. Overall, I do like the FR-S. Its like the new Civic of the import world. Everyone is making all sorts parts for it. There are turbo kits, centrifugal S/C, and twin screw S/C that are being released soon.
