i dont think they grill is supposed to sit flush with the hood and bumper like that, at least mine dont..... mine sits in a few inches then again you have the 06-07 bumper...could be different.... heres how mine looks (old pic) (http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr89/winndogg34/PA110247.jpg) (http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr89/winndogg34/Headers/P1020028.jpg) Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: timot_one on September 16, 2009, 04:57:28 PM Quote from: "InFuMoUs" Looks good man. Quote from: "CYANiDE" How was the foglight install? I'm lookin' to do the same and maybe you could help me out when I get them in if you did it yourself. Nope I didn't do the install, I just went to a body shop that gave me a good price on paint job for the bumper and foglight install. Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: NWINNIE34 on September 16, 2009, 06:36:33 PM nice....well its lookin good man...i love those fogs....
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: Mike on September 16, 2009, 07:02:43 PM Looks good I agree with the lip and drop crowd but, I think a nice set of wheels would really set it off
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: rich on September 16, 2009, 08:28:09 PM not sure if i like the grill but def. like the bumper...beggin for a drop!
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: k24low20z on September 16, 2009, 08:34:12 PM looking good..but i would loose the grill and just get a OEM...oh yeah and a drop + front lip asap!!

Same exact setup only I put on the front lip as well. You should DEF put on the lip and slam that beast down. It'll sets it off nice. My grillcraft grill sits the same way, def looked weird for the first little bit but i LOVE it now
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: CrazyCreashunz on September 17, 2009, 05:38:15 PM Looking good Anthony... I agree with everyone else with the front lip, drop and I would use the oem 06-07 grille. Think about color matching it... take a look in the ebay/craigslist thread, I posted some deals on rims and tires cheaaaaappppp!!! I would post link but im on my sidekick.
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: drpimp304 on September 18, 2009, 08:58:23 AM drop that bitch!
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: Paulius005 on September 18, 2009, 11:41:56 PM Nice work! Although I do favor the oem grille over that...
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: ibcnunv on September 19, 2009, 06:04:47 AM OEM Grille and drop...
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: hondaguy214 on September 21, 2009, 11:39:36 PM i like your set up.
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: ROLO on September 25, 2009, 08:33:12 AM I'm feeling the headlights and fogs.. but not the grill. A minor drop + lip and your set.
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: slipkord on February 05, 2010, 11:04:03 AM I'm thinking about doing the same setup. All I would need is 06-07 grille and bumper? Can an 03-05 lip be modded to fit 06-07 bumper?

Needs to be modded slightly...Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: slipkord on February 05, 2010, 12:36:20 PM Thanks Billy!
Sorry to bump an old thread but there arent many front end conversion threads. I'll have to check and see if the 7.5s use the same shade of red. Where would you guys reccommend buying from? Ebay would probably be the cheapest. Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: CrazyCreashunz on February 05, 2010, 12:45:28 PM Quote from: "slipkord" Thanks Billy! Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: slipkord on February 05, 2010, 12:48:56 PM I've actually already got an 03-05 lip, had it for years lol Just need the 7.5g bumper/grille!
2006 uses the same color - not sure about 2007. Redondo Red Pearl ftw! ![]() Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: CrazyCreashunz on February 05, 2010, 01:19:44 PM Quote from: "slipkord" I've actually already got an 03-05 lip, had it for years lol ![]() Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: Lemonjelly on February 05, 2010, 01:24:17 PM http://www.neweggmall.com/Product/2004087490/product.html
That's where I got my bumper cover from when I did my conversion. I ordered it and had it in the same week and there were no fitment problems. Looks OEM. Billy, you can still get the 03-05 oem front lip from bernardiparts.com. They don't have all the colors but it shouldn't cost much to have it color matched. I had my whole front end painted for $200 http://www.bernardiparts.com/Honda-Underbody-Spoiler-Front-Accord-Sedan__08F01-SDA-XXX.aspx Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: slipkord on February 05, 2010, 02:42:43 PM That's not a bad price Steve. It was $120 including shipping. Shipping was more than the bumper!
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: Lemonjelly on February 05, 2010, 03:24:48 PM yea shipping was more expensive for me too, but you cant beat the price. On Bernardiparts.com it is 201 for just the bumper and that is not including shipping...
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: slipkord on February 05, 2010, 03:29:32 PM And you could probably get a decent shop to paint the bumper for $100 bucks, you had the whole front clip painted for $200?
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: slipkord on February 05, 2010, 03:52:24 PM I actually just called a really good shop I know of and they will charge $400-$500 to paint the bumper only! Because my paint is a 3-stage paint FML
Doesnt Majestic sell their bumpers pre-pained for around $220? Holy hell that's crazy! I don't think bernardi sells their bumpers pre-painted, you could always call them and see if you could work something out...
Title: Re: Front End Conversion = DONE Post by: timot_one on February 06, 2010, 08:30:24 PM Honda doesn't sell any parts painted. Accessories like the front and rear lips and the spoilers come painted though.
