Title: New wheels on the truck :)
Post by: Blackhawk on August 25, 2009, 09:23:17 AM
My Mounty with new Basset Racing 15x8 wheels with 0mm offset. I transferred my stock tires cause their meat is still good and they cleaned up real well, but eventually plan on putting 275/60/15 rear and 235/70/15 front after lowering:

Before:

Looks good JT! Cant wait to see it when you completely black out the side molding and bumpers.

Def need to take off the roof rack/side skirts. Do they make a roll pan for the rear? That'd look hot.

Looks hot. Now you just need to tint your tail lights and it'd look even hotter and it'd be even more blacked out.

I'd get that gray trim painted black and murder it out completely.  At this point, the gray parts look out of place.

So you still gonna go with the wider rear tires?  BTW, did you wash it after the rain yesterday?

Basset wheels are KILLIN' IT !!!!!!

All I can think about is a fully stanced out GMC CUSTOM VAN !!!!  I love it when a plan comes together.

All I can say is that pics don't do this justice.  The rims are hot.  Once the drop is in place, the mounty will be a winner.  Then it will be time for some fuel sapping, go fast parts.

Thanks guys. Yeah these rims were just replacement for my stock wheels since I used the same tires. I am dropping it this weekend and putting Cobra R deep dish rims 18x9 and 18x10 in a few weeks. Gonna look sweet :)

How low are you going to drop it? Are there I-beams on the front?

Not sure what you mean by "I-Beams", but if you are reffering to leaf springs, I do not. These trucks use "torsion bars" as springs for the front.

Yeah man I came to my senses. I live in Florida, and most of it is highways. I'm gonna turn this Monty into a little mustang cross-over

yea +1 on this.  the first shot looks like they're completely smooth.  rims are a bit small looking too but the style is right
