Title: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: Blackhawk on August 25, 2009, 09:23:17 AM My Mounty with new Basset Racing 15x8 wheels with 0mm offset. I transferred my stock tires cause their meat is still good and they cleaned up real well, but eventually plan on putting 275/60/15 rear and 235/70/15 front after lowering:

Title: Re: Blacked out my Mounty :) Post by: slipkord on August 25, 2009, 09:36:13 AM Looks good JT! Cant wait to see it when you completely black out the side molding and bumpers.
Def need to take off the roof rack/side skirts. Do they make a roll pan for the rear? That'd look hot. Title: Re: Blacked out my Mounty :) Post by: Mr Eazy on August 25, 2009, 10:28:52 AM Looking good JT.
Title: Re: Blacked out my Mounty :) Post by: Antoni0_23 on August 25, 2009, 10:32:58 AM Looks hot. Now you just need to tint your tail lights and it'd look even hotter and it'd be even more blacked out.
Title: Re: Blacked out my Mounty :) Post by: timot_one on August 25, 2009, 01:08:58 PM I'd get that gray trim painted black and murder it out completely. At this point, the gray parts look out of place.
Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: toinkee69 on August 25, 2009, 02:12:48 PM time to drop that baby.
Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: driveaccord on August 25, 2009, 04:57:26 PM the tires dont look right...they need to be more "knobby" looking
Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: DV8mAn on August 25, 2009, 05:26:21 PM So you still gonna go with the wider rear tires? BTW, did you wash it after the rain yesterday?
Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: fabulous010 on August 25, 2009, 06:50:20 PM dude those wheels look sick!!! nice work
Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: rip_cord on August 25, 2009, 11:42:41 PM Basset wheels are KILLIN' IT !!!!!!
All I can think about is a fully stanced out GMC CUSTOM VAN !!!! I love it when a plan comes together. Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: DV8mAn on August 26, 2009, 09:30:37 PM All I can say is that pics don't do this justice. The rims are hot. Once the drop is in place, the mounty will be a winner. Then it will be time for some fuel sapping, go fast parts.
Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: Blackhawk on August 27, 2009, 10:30:46 AM Thanks guys. Yeah these rims were just replacement for my stock wheels since I used the same tires. I am dropping it this weekend and putting Cobra R deep dish rims 18x9 and 18x10 in a few weeks. Gonna look sweet :)

Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: CrackerTeg on August 27, 2009, 10:48:28 AM Now THOSE wheels are going to look hot. So much for the off road look huh?

Not sure what you mean by "I-Beams", but if you are reffering to leaf springs, I do not. These trucks use "torsion bars" as springs for the front.Quote from: "CrackerTeg" Now THOSE wheels are going to look hot. So much for the off road look huh? Yeah man I came to my senses. I live in Florida, and most of it is highways. I'm gonna turn this Monty into a little mustang cross-over  Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: v6sicksspeed on August 27, 2009, 04:14:46 PM Quote from: "driveaccord" the tires dont look right...they need to be more "knobby" looking yea +1 on this. the first shot looks like they're completely smooth. rims are a bit small looking too but the style is right Title: Re: New wheels on the truck :) Post by: seththekorean on August 29, 2009, 01:03:37 AM good lookin truck there JT. if you check the SECM you can see my new truck ...
