Title: [Request]: How-to tighten up parking brake Post by: clapton924 on August 03, 2009, 02:08:19 AM My parking brake has become very loose. I have to pull it up all the way (max) for it to properly engage. I'm pretty sure there is a spring? or tension adjustment on the brake somewhere which will allow me to take out this slack.
Anyone know how to do this? If so you may have to do more than tighten it and replace a cable... I had to do that once as my stupid ass friend tried to power slide with my car and my right cable had to be replaced, fucker paid for it though.
