Right now I'm using some cheapo walmart brand filter, lol. The next time I need to replace it, I'm getting the K&N filter off Amazon for 10 bucks. :P

i got the bosch one from auto zone. They are as good and maybe even better then mobile 1 right now. The STP are okay but the seem really really small, even smaller then the honda one.

Has anyone noticed any kind of gains with the K&N oil filter?

Your not going to notice any gains from an oil filter Jeff. Some just filter better than others. That's all.

I think there was a discussion about that on the old gen7. Cant remember what the actual conclusion was though.  I just use either Napa gold or M1 whenever I'm at walmart picking up oil.

I knew it! K&N doesn't claim guaranteed horsepower for nothing! With that extra 20hp, and the extra 10 I got from my iVTEC decals, I'll be smoking everyone away!

:P

I knew I must've been doing something wrong. That explains why Piero's car is so smoking fast.

yeah I was the one that posted the oil filter comparison. The material for Mobile 1, STP, and bosch are the same.

Found it http://www.ntpog.org/reviews/filters/old_filters.shtml (http://www.ntpog.org/reviews/filters/old_filters.shtml)

I used to use Mobil M1-110....as of late I have been using Honda OEM.

I've only ever used honda OEM filters except for two times when I first got the car, I used two fram oil filters before going back to Honda OEM.

I use nothing but OEM. I think I got one M1-110 tho when they had a sale with the oil, but haven't used it yet.

Going to Honda now to get my oil changed. OEM ftw

The M1-110 is a good filter...but its twice the price of a OEM filter. Not worth it IMO

True the price for the M1-110 filter is up there, but if your lucky you can sometimes get one free when they have those buy 5qts of synthetic and get a free filter sale at Advance or Autozone for around 25 to 30 bucks.
