Anyone interested in going to this as a spectator? It's $20 per ticket, and it's the first big car show in this area in quite a while. I'll probably be getting a few tickets soon.

And fyi: I get out of the work the Saturday before at about 4pm and am free after that and on Sunday. For those in the area, we can chill Saturday, do breakfast Sunday, or for those that don't have to rush back home for work on Monday, we can even hit the city on Sunday night.

I've mentioned it in the NECM thread already, but who's interested in getting wings at the Hooters we went to last time on Saturday night? We could meet up there at around 6 or 7, then try and do something fun in Providence? Anyone else have any other ideas?

if you want to be in the show it's all up to you, if you want to do it than go ahead it's your decision. it's an indoor show so if you do the show your stuck in there to the end, if you don't you can meet up with the rest of the guys and eat wings and you can leave the show anytime you want on sunday and save yourself about $40 for gas

The first is unavoidable if you want to enter in anything bigger than a small parking lot local show. I just pick about 3-5 a year I really want to do, and the rest I spectate.

Fourth really depends on the show honestly, I have been in a few and too a few that really do appreciate the underhood modifications. Some do and some don't.

Maybe next year. This year I'll just attend and observe. Fnd the shineyest car there with the most outragous body kit, most TV screens and subwoofers, and biggest chrome rims and challenge them to race.

you can always buy tickets at the door but i don't know if it will be at the same price, most indoor shows charge more at window then advance tickets sales. But before you go and buy tickets, lets get a roll call list of who will actually be going so you don't wasn't your money. if you end up buying extra you can always sell it to someone in line day off.

i do but some kid got to close and spilled a little bit of his drink so i closed it up. really didn't matter because i got judged at 7:30pm after the bikini contest when everyone was leaving and they started giving out trophies 10 min later so my car never really stood a chance. Best Honda was the 2nd categorie presented

I though I would have won at least best display but those tropies went to vendors, which is odd becuase I always though vendors weren't allowed to compete in shows but nevertheless I did this show more to see what RI had to offer car wise but the show was mainly MA and NH vehicles. Peiro, btw our models showed up around 4:30pm, and we had about 5 girls including everyones favorite, Kayla, who came in 2nd place in the bikini contest

thoses girls were models from the fashion show. Dave, Kayla is the girl on the 1st page of this thread. she came around the time i met you but they were walking around. i'm waiting for there photographer to send us the pictures and will post when i get them.
