Title: Hot Import Nights: Chicago, IL 7/11/09 (56k no)
Post by: unclejud49348 on July 13, 2009, 10:29:43 AM
Here are some pictures from HIN last Saturday. I took my gf and 2 other buddys and we all had a really good time. If you've never been to HIN before I would recommend checking it out because it was a lot of fun and there is something for everyone. I took quite a few pictures but I'm going to try to stick to the highlights so the thread isn't a million pages long.

Note: Although I am not a professional photographer these pictures do belong to me and I would appreciate credit if you would like to use any of them.

Let's start off with my favorite car of the show: The Transformer Car

The interior was pretty sweet too!

Another car that was pretty unique was the Air Force Fighter Jet

Rolo, you've got some competition in Chicago. There was a pretty sweet Hulk Car

Mitsu 3000GT

White Supra

Old school Skyline. I talked with the owner and he was a pretty nice guy, told me his GPS told him he got it up to 205mph before.

Pink Honda. My gf wants to get her Accord re-painted to this color.

I thought of Tim when I saw this car. The owner used Mcintosh equipment and had a pretty cool setup.

And the award for the over-use of screens and lights goes to the yellow Hummer!

This is probably 1/10th of all of the pictures I took, but it's a good start. Let me know what you think.

Almost forgot, there were NO Accords at the show, not a one. I seriously think there are some people on this forum that could enter their cars and do pretty well, so maybe it's something you should look into if you're interested.

Did you get a photo of the hood of the neon green HULK?

Rolo, this is about the best I can do for you. The hood was up the whole time but this is a shot from the back where you can partially see the hood.

And I forgot the shot of the Lotus car which was pretty cool.

And I also forgot the best part of the whole thing, the models! Woot woot.

I got to take a few pictures with the models as well, but my girlfriend brought me back to reality by telling me that I was going home with her   lol.
