Title: Project: Hondas on Meguiars Post by: rafaeljose73 on June 13, 2009, 05:05:30 PM After what I read about the Turtle wax here (btw nobody commented on the Black Magic product line ;) ) I went and got some Meguiars goodies:
(http://i642.photobucket.com/albums/uu148/rafaeljose73/detaing/041.jpg) I know this is not the Accord but I used the Pilot as a guinea pig for the project. I didn't took pictures when she was dirty but attach is the result after doing the following: 1. Wash it with Gold Class and Dry it with the Absorber. BTW water bedding results. Could be the previous job? 2. NTX. Didn't consider the clay since the car is new and I used TW ICE day after I got it. 3. Gold Class Liquid Wax. Didn't wait the 12 hrs as tomorrow the Accord will be done and wife wants the SUV. Don't know if that matters. Kept the other ones just in case might need it In the shade... Look for the mirror effect on the vehicle. Not Photoshopped! Title: Re: Project: Hondas on Meguiars Post by: Abailey4 on June 13, 2009, 06:15:36 PM Looks good, the Gold Class lasts a very long time. I think I've had by bottle for it seems like 2 years now.
Title: Re: Project: Hondas on Meguiars Post by: Mike on June 13, 2009, 11:29:35 PM I like the gold class paste wax I've never used the liquid thought.

I used to be a die-hard paste waxer. Then I tried a liquid wax....I was sold the first time I used it. With a liquid I find it much easier to apply a thin coat....this cuts your waxing time in half because buffing off the dry wax is almost effortless. When I first started detailing cars I would cake on the paste wax...I think I put an inch on my arms taking it off. Give a liquid a shot...I think you will be happy with it. I guess I should also point out that I cannot tell a difference in the final result between paste and liquid. I couldn't help but notice the Rincon sticker, are you from Puerto Rico of have any family over here?
