Now you know why it takes me so long to get pictures out....

I'm a perfectionist....I spent 3 hours detailing my car today in order to get it the way you see it right now.  I refuse at all possible costs to shoot my car in natural sunlight because of the horrendous swirl marks it prominently displays.  Nighttime is a different story, however :)

I needed to shoot my car for one of my Forensics classes, so I drove out to school and set up on the 3rd floor of my favorite parking garage.  I took a few pictures and then decided that I wasn't getting the kind of definition that these pictures need....so I decided to shoot those pictures during the day and just shoot fun pictures while I was there...hell...my car is only clean for about a week out of the year so I'd best get what I wanted while the fruits of my labor were still evident.

So here she is in all her glory.  Comments and criticism are welcome.

one of my favorite sedans on the forum. i didn't know you had a CF hood, then again you dont post much as you said so its nice to see your ride in its most updated state for the moment.

awsome car...it looks alot better in person, skip what Kelvin HID are you running? it looks like 8000k...do you have the color mod on your retros?

Thanks for the comments guys! Believe it or not, those are 4300k stock TSX bulbs.  I'm not sure if my retro was color modded but I can tell you that I messed around with the white balance on my camera and played with some of the settings but the beams look so much cooler in the pics now.  The actual beam in real life is more white.  I also may have caught the beam in a blue spot..who knows...lol..the point is..it looks cool :)

Great looking Accord.  You can tell if your projectors are color modded by simply looking at the cutoff line on a wall.  Normal TSX projectors have really no color at all on the cutoff line if you see purple/blue you have some washers added for color.

Awesome pics. I was wondering why your bulbs were looking as blue as they were.

those tires are definitely sticky my buddy has them and you can tell how sticky they are just by touching them. and I think that this is the 2nd time ive ever seen you car, 1st time was the signature

Awesome pictures. The first one does make it look like your lights are blue, but thats cool in my book. CF hood looks great too. Rims look very nice, you must have spent some time making those shiny.

Thanks for the positive comment! Unfortunately, this setup is here to stay.  My performance group and I are not very moved by aftermarket wheels, we prefer to use OE wheels, and I haven't found an OE wheel that looks any bit more amazing than the TL-S wheel.

Thanks for the good words guys, it means a lot to hear that my car is looked up to so much.  Piero, I haven't fixed the tint..BUT I have stripped the front windows so JT and Chris can't make that annoying noise with the tint anymore! It all stemmed from the idea that the chumps who do our tint at Acura wanted like $50 to remove the tint from the windows and I told them to go S the D, I'd remove it myself.  I did one window, got lazy, did the other one a month later lol.  I'm going to strip the two rear windows and then get the them to remove the tint from the rear window which may or may not screw up my heater elements...

car looks good man - nice clean simple flow going on.  have you experienced any problems from taking out that hood liner or do CF hoods not have a liner?  i had wanted to do that to mine but didnt want the heat from the engine to f-up the clearcoat or exterior paint

Skip, how many miles have you been able to get out of those tires?

I have driven Skip's car and I could not be more impressed. Easily one of the best I4's I've ever had the pleasure of driving. The drivetrain is the best part, with the TSX 6speed and the ACT clutch. It feels so good, especially compared to my POS drivetrain with the V6. I wish I had a K24 sedan now. I've always wanted a European Accord, but a TSX would do. Honda FTW!

That's his Brockway R920 Engine monitor. Fvkin' sweet. I have been slacking on getting one of my own.

I removed mine and I haven't noticed any problems with the paint yet (knock on wood). I hated the look of it and decided to take the risk. Have you heard of this ever happening in the past?

skip if you want to make it easier to remove the tint use a steam wand or whatever its called. the shop that removed my tint used it and all my defroster lines are still intact....or tons a rubbing alcohol lol.

Skippy, let me know if you want help with taking off the tint.  I used to tint, so I can provide pointers on removal :-)
