Title: Added Magnaflow Exhaust #14829 Post by: K24power07 on May 29, 2009, 02:05:04 PM Well i added a Magnaflow exhaust #14829 , ummm i still undecided on how it sounds, of course sound clips dont really help, but i made one at the bottom let me know wat u think.
Magnaflow #14829, 2.0 piping w/resonator......Its not at all loud, u can only here outside not at all in the car..... Before.. How come you didnt do a full custom cat back?

Title: Re: Added Magnaflow Exhaust #14829 Post by: K24power07 on May 30, 2009, 08:02:24 PM i Just wanna add this , i went to 2 different shops to get the custom exhaust piping to 2.25, and they looked at me like i was from mars, and they said it wouldnt make a difference , so i says well do it anyway , and they tried to charge like 400+ just for the piping no resonator, i know thats to much , Now answer me this anyone and everyone , would changing the piping from the cat to the exhaust make a difference or not ?

If you add a resonator or not would also play a role in that as well and the type of muffler you put on would also make a difference in sound quality. I think changing the headers too, but I'm not 100% on that.
