I'm quite pleased with my S2000 retrofit using Philips Ultinons and HID high beams.

Post by: skizot on May 23, 2009, 11:18:42 AM Seeing as these are "high" beam only. My guess is that they are not bright enough for standard headlight bulbs. Seems like a gimmick to me, to pray on those who thinks that everything must be done with an LED. "Yo, I got those phat LED headlights....5 WHP Yo!" LOL

Post by: k24low20z on May 23, 2009, 02:28:01 PM i seen those use on cars that have DRL's..like the (06-07) models, some people like them because it takes away that orange yellow look from your DRL's and it gives you that crispy LED light look during the day..like the new audi's....now as far as using it like a High beam bulbs i think they suck because they dont put out as much light as a PnP HID kit..

I bought those leds bulbs almost a year ago, before I put in my HIDS. They suck, they are not bright at all, they are expensive. I wouldn't bother with them.
