Title: Intake manifold and trottle body options Post by: AV6NHBP6SPD on April 16, 2012, 06:43:27 PM Atlas.46 on v6p started but i added a lot of info to it so credit to him for that
Now on to the part numbers. Intake Manifold(RL had two) Accord (08+ auto 17160-R70-A01 manual 17160-R72-A01) both have butterfly but not AIT port Accord hybrid (05-07) 17160-RCJ-A01 MAG, AIT, Butterfly MDX (07+)17160-RYE-A00 RL (05-08) 17160-RKB-010 MAG, AIT, butterfly RL 09+ (17160-RKG-A00 and 17160-RKG-A01) MAG, AIT, butterfly TL (09+ SH-AWD AT and MT) 17160-RK2-A00 TL and TL-s (07-08 AT and MT) 17160-RDA-A00 $145, MAG, AIT, butterfly Ridgeline(09+) 17140-RKB-013 MAG, no AIT port, has bytterfly valve Pilot(09+ 4WD only) 17160-RGL-A01, MAG, AIT port, no bytterfly valve ($116.73. wtf) Oddysey (05+) 17160-RGL-A01 MAG, AIT port, butterfly valve ($116) Crosstour 17160-RN0-A00 MAG, no AIT, no butterfly $129 Intake manifold spacers Ridgeline 17108-RDJ-A00 (only $22.32) Pilot (06+ 4WD) 17108-RDJ-A00 Intake Manifold Cover Accord 17140-R72-A01 MDX 17140-RKB-013 RL 17140-RKB-013 TL 17140-RK1-A01 Throttle Body Accord 16400-RYE-A01 MDX 16400-RYE-A01 RL 16400-RKG-A01 TL SH-AWD 16400-RKG-A01 TL-S 16400-RKB-003 Pilot (06+ 4WD) 16400-RKB-003 Oddysey (05+) 16400-RKB-003 (12+ 16400-RN0-A01 $90) Title: Re: Intake manifold and trottle body options Post by: Mike on April 16, 2012, 07:23:25 PM I might be in the dark here, and it looks like you have done your research... Can you provide the pros and cons of some of these selections.
Title: Re: Intake manifold and trottle body options Post by: AV6NHBP6SPD on April 17, 2012, 05:47:15 PM manifolds listed are magnezium but more importantly 2 pice clamshell so its easy to take them apart and port and polish inside. i think its lighter too. throttlebody would need to be selected to fit manifolds but i think P2R has adaptors to fit new TL AWD throttle body on smaller diameter manifold. if im not mistaken new TL TB is 80mm but i could be wrong
Title: Re: Intake manifold and trottle body options Post by: NVA-AV6 on April 17, 2012, 09:18:01 PM No, they are only 71mm at thier narrowest point just behind the throttle plate and are bukoo expensive, $490 my cost new.
Title: Re: Intake manifold and trottle body options Post by: Chuev on May 26, 2015, 08:59:34 AM What is AIT and the butterfly? Sorry im new this all this mechanical stuff and would like to know a bit more before buying random stuff without knowing. Ive read so much about upgrading the j30a4's IM and TB but dont even know if these are simple bolt ons or would I have to cut or grind anything to make it direct fit.
