Title: Stock TSX suspension on Accord (i4)
Post by: CYANiDE on March 11, 2013, 03:13:25 PM
I know it will bolt up if I use washers in the rear. Are there any downsides to doing this? I am getting basically free TSX suspension with less than 40k and I would rather swap that into my Accord and not have to buy a stock set.

I foresee no negative effects, although the spring rates may be slightly different for the TSX due the difference in weight.

True but is there really that much of a difference in weight?

Quick Google Search:

Accord Curb Weight - 3,239 lbs
TSX Curb Weight - 3,318 lbs

Not sure how accurate those are, but the weights are really close. I am just wondering if there would be any ill-effects that I haven't thought of.

Nope. Should be fine.
