I have to say, it's already better than it first was, guess it gets a bit loose over time.
I did screw it in since this is a oem decklid spoiler and it as studs on it. Either had to cut the studs, of drill the trunk.
As you may have seen, my trunk needs to be replaced anyways, some hole in it was not that much of a matter to me.

Vibration will get better once the mounts are broken in. I remember how mine was with the new clutch and all. Thing felt like a track car for about a month. My hood still vibrates at certain rpm when idling and the dash when i do spirited shifting.

If you think 60a mounts are bad, you don't want to even know how bad the 85a mounts I had were. 75a is a lot better for me now, but like everyone said, it will get better in time.

i'm getting used to it, and when i'll be MT, it will be much better on a red light, being on neutral (i do it on my auto because otherwise it is awful ) Got just to find where one of the rattle comes from, like a metal rattle near the cluster, makes the sound at around 2500-3000 rpm. appart from that, you get used to it.

This week purchase !  Smiley
Bought all this for only 150$, quite happy !
This is a borla V6 coupe exhaust, the rears mufflers were replaced with some walker quiet flow. Was installed on a k24 sedan. will get some turn down tips installed on them until i get my rear bumper and lip painted. Then will probably get another borla muffler or might buy 2 universal mufflers and get the borla tips on.

So, finally went ahead and bought myself a LC6i to hook up my amp with the RCA inputs.

I absolutely wanted to be able to put stuff throught the opening of the back seat, so it needed to be mounted to the back seat. the thing is the space is too little to fit both amp and loc back there because of the "ski trap" (that what we call the opening in the middle anyways).

So what i've done is measure the space available and 3D cad the back seat and the audio components. Then I designed a simple mount for them to be on.

It fits pretty well, I now only need to connect everything up and tune it. Quite excited to test it out.

That's a real bummer the LOC didn't fit on the other side of your "ski trap". Install looks nice. Are you planning on covering the MDF with carpet?

Also, what CAD software are you using?

It will look 100x better if you cover it in carpet.

I've finished the install, The sound is really decent. Clear and no buzz like i used to get. I know carpet would make it look better but since the amp might not stay there long, I don't feel like doing it. I use Solidworks for my 3D CAD drawings.

Now i feel like i need a subwoofer, The sound i get is clear and loud, but no bass presence, and if i try to cheat and turn up the bass on the headunit, it sounds like crap. I might be interested in a powered sub box since they are quite compact easy to plug ans unplug a quick plug for power would be nice too, don't want to use too much cargo space. Don't know what size power i need tho, too much choices to look at.

So, went ahead and bought a used alpine 8 inch type R subwoofer with a ported box. Then searched for a matching amplifier and found a cheap sub and amplifier combo, a alpine MRP M500 amp and a 12 inch alpine type R sub in a sealed box. Intalled the amp and tried both subs (one at a time). The 8 inch is pumping quite a lot of bass for the size of it, but the 12 is definitively more powerful (might be too much actually) , and takes more place. Hard to decide. Anyways, here are pics of them.

Previous setup didn't last long, ditched the old crappy amplifier and bought myself a MRP-F300. Built a new rack to hold both amps and the lc6i. Also decided to keep the 12 inch subwoofer.
Pretty happy of the sound and the look too. Looks clean (still need to zip tie few wires) and still can drop down the seat, if i need to put something long in the car.
Would be happy to hear your thoughts !

Looks good man. How do you have the amp rack attached to the back of the seat. I'm interested in seeing how everything is held in place.

It actually is in two parts, the top layer and sides are fixed together then fixed to the base. The base itself is fixed to the back of the seat, with metal screws. What you may see is there are holes on the plate where the amps are mounted that makes possible to screw the bottom layer. Here is the 3D cad of it.

Gotcha. So the base of it is secured into the back of the seat with metal screws? It's been a while since I've messed around with the back of the rear seat. I figured you would have a better perspective with your experience. Thanks for your help. I really dig your idea of attaching your amps this way. I may end up borrowing your idea and expanding on it for my set up.
