Thanks for the feedback guys. Tires mounted for these front rims today. I was amazed at how wide this 225/40 tire is. The tread surface protrudes from the side of the rim lip on the 8"s. They should stretch perfectly on the 9.5"s. As for the choice of tire, I got a $45 discount through Bing on eBay, then an $80 rebate from Falken on these till Novemeber. Got $580 tires for around $434 shipped. Once I wear them out I will switch to the FK452. More "streetier" and Falken's sportiest street tire.

haha... my bad, i usually look at the first page and also my comp is acting up weird, it scrolls down automatically without me seeing the whole post. anyways i think it looks better like that, and that sits hellaflush not sticking out.
