So many to choose from...

Just listen to Skip's advice. I am just showing you these since you said you want a drag car... I'm sure these are all drag worthy.

I'm all for K-sights.  It's the most logical build since the car is stripped down pretty much to a gas tank, skins, and a powerplant from the factory.  All you really need to do is gut the lightweight interior, swap the motor and transmission, and then have fun.  That swap, being so light, should only really be used in a drag setup.  I doubt it would perform well in twisties.

I like Paul's idea with the uber S2K but honestly I would prefer to have a coffin without wheels.

Oh no doubt it would need to be upgraded to the nines in order to be street safe, but all the safety equipment in the world cannot protect those not in the driver's seat.  The really sad thing is that accidents involving these ridiculously powerful cars almost always leave the idiot driver without a scratch, while passengers, pedestrians, and other innocents lose quite a bit more than sleep over the issue.  A 700whp S2K would be a hell of a ride though Smiley

For pure balls out fun without a budget......

S2k (RWD) with a fully built J37 (Sleeves, rods, pistons, SS valve train), Twin GT28RS snails, cryoed tranny internals, Skyline rear end, battery reloed to trunk, this will yeaild a 55front 45 rear weighted 2100-2200 lbs car with excellent handeling and 750+RWHP. If you can't have fun with that you need to shoot yourself.
is this a car or an airplane? :o

Although now I am thinking of a Del Sol , rear engine conversion (have done one in the past with a H22) with a built V6 power train.

I think an h22 or b18 CRX would be best for straight line speed. There's not much torque required to move that since it doesn't weight at all. Is it possible to drop a v6 in the CRX? If so it'd be sick.

A Fully built DC2 Type R gutted, stroked and fully built motor, all motor reving to 9500+ RPM, thats my bliss, but too bad finding a clean and unmolested Type R is about as hard or impossible as it gets, half of them have been stolen, and the est are more than likely modded up the wazoo
