MAkes sense... thanks for clarification. 8 pounds is not too bad. on the 240 with the new plan I will probably be pushing about 13-15 psi if not more.

Sounds like fun to me. I'd keep it instead of selling it. I'm hoping to get my project car soon.

I think it will stay around a while... and be a DD for a while. I have realized the somewhat rarity of it being a coupe instead of a hatch. Soon, I will have a dual cam ka and 5 speed swap. I have been reading alot about building a KA-t and it looks somewhat promising.

yeah the dual cam KA-T is a real monster now. I vote you keep it and do that. The aftermarket scene for that car is endless so you wont have issues finding parts

I finally started working on it last night, the spark plugs has some orange silicone looking gunk on the electrode of them along with some oil... i have a feeling this ka24e needs a lot more than a just a head gasket haha....
