i've had this problem on wifes car(07) with a couple different style blades. My car(04) doesn't seem to suffer with this problem...
guess i should see whats on my car, and duplicate it on wifeys...

Bosch Icons and Rain-X latitudes both missed spots on my windshield.  Like others have said, I think it is due to their design.  Now I just buy the cheap blades and they work fine.

Most the Time I get what ever is on special haven't had any major issues with missing a spot. I always stick to the flexible ones from Costco it be like buy one get one free. Although I did have one snap on me but replacement is free

so i swapped out the flex type blades for some bosch frame type wipers and it seems to have solved the problem but once we get some precipatation i will update.

Ill agree I have the same issue. Not quite as bad, im using Rainx latitudes. Ive found the old fashioned blades far superior but the rainx ones were more than half off at pepboys
