I put about 4000 miles on the engine since I built it a year and a half ago. That's with busting 3 transmissions and dealing with repairing flaws in the original fabrication.

At this point, I'm going to hold off taking the motor apart, o ringing the head and any other upgrades. There are no machine shops that are capable of doing the work in my area that can get it done in a reasonable amount of time. I don't want the car to sit again, so I'm going to just fix the transmission and drive it until things improve on my end and I can find a shop to do the work I need. As of now, there will be no upgrades to the car and I am not going to try and make more power.

Messaged the shop to check on it. Been 2 weeks tomorrow. Took them a week to figure out the spoiler might be junk, and the rest of the time plugging the holes and buffing the streaks out. Picking it up tomorrow

Been giving a thorough cleaning for the hood/stone protector for the front of my car, I'm so used to it being there, it looks weird without it. lol

Any cracks in the spoiler? That's strange.

They didn't want it falling off  Angry

Replaced my fuel pump and cleaned up the filter a bit. Started the car at random intervals and each time it started fine. Put this on the watch list for now.

Picked up a new -6 weld on fitting for my plenum and a battery box for the trunk. Also had a nice conversation with Jeff at CSS the other day. Looks like I'm going to be tearing my motor down tomorrow to get the cylinder head o ringed.

Tore down my motor today.  Took the cylinder head off and disassembled it to a bare head.  Pistons look pretty good for having 4000 miles on them.  No signs of damage that I could see.  The cylinder head showed signs that it was lifting under boost.  I got the head packed up and ready to send out to CSS to get o ringed.  Some family stuff has kept me from driving it out to NH to drop it off, but I'm hoping that I can make the trip out there to come pick it up and hang with some friends while I'm there.  Wink

Since it's still 40 and raining Sad I tested the sockets I go over the weekend to make sure they were the right size, success. Plugged in the impact wrench to make sure it works.
