I have seen a 25 drawer kobalt over at lowes that has a pioneer head unit, speakers, a fridge and a couple of led lights, for like $1000 which is not a bad deal considering what ur getting...

the harness was the last thing i could think of... if only i could get ahold of another auto harness... then that way i'd know for sure...

well as a couple of you know...i have acquired the piece of equipment which is highly desired... kpro...

awesome, yes? NO....

ever since i got it i have been having problems with it.  first the car wouldn't shut off for like 10 seconds when i removed the key, i called cham, he told me to cut a wire controlling the ignition, i did.... that worked.. car shut off now.

then i uploaded a premade tune, started her up and it started fine. took her out for a drive, and it wouldn't rev past 3200 rpms... and the a/f was perfect... 14.7 at idle, and around 13.5 at WOT.. talked to cham about it, and told me to upload the basemap tune, did that and the same thing was happening.

i then put the car back to stock, and shipped the harness out to cham to take a look at it, apparently there was a cracked wire at the base of the connection.  when i got the harness back, i installed it again and uploaded the premade tune again.  took it out for a drive, and this time it wouldn't rev past 3500 rpm.

fuming, i put it back to stock again. thinking it was the kpro unit itself i talked to skip about it, and he agreed to troubleshoot the kpro unit itself on his car.  I was told the unit worked perfectly on his car...*scratches head*

I receive the unit back from skip, install it and upload the tune again... and again the same fucking thing.... won't rev past 3500rpm.

i am befuddled now...i reallly want to get this shit resolved, im tired of switchin my shit back to stock every couple of days

i voted for the black mesh... because the hfp's dont really flow as well on ur car IMO.

but if u were to say, tl-s wheels vs the black mesh.... my vote would be for the tl-s wheels

Over on the old gen7 site, I remember Mike up in NY had purchased these and said he would report back on them.  Soon after the switch I have not heard from him, or anything about these any more.

Does anyone know if he ever got them installed? Does anyone else have them??
