Ebc greenstuff pads smoking after install

Installed brembo blanks and ebc greenstuff pads abs drove it for a good 3 miles. And then they started smoking after 1.5 miles of driving. Checked some websites and they say it's normal, any ideas?

^Mine did that when I was breaking them in which is normal. I didn't know that would happen during normal driving/braking though.

Did you bed them in? If not, do that and then see if they still smoke..

Did you just replace the front or rear? Do you notice only one side is smoking? Maybe it could be that "break in" layer they have on the pads?

After bedding them in they do not smoke anymore. However, they are squeaking like crazy. The box says that's normal up to 500 miles though. So we'll see.
Thanks guys.

Since they are new rotors, did you clean the oil film off the new rotors? You are suppose to clean new rotors off with brake cleaner then rewash with hot soapy water. Brakes should not squeek. The proper bedding is to drive 30mph and press on the brake 30 times.

I did apply brake parts cleaner before driving the car, and did bed them in properly. The box of the pads does say the can squeak up to 500 miles of use, then it should stop. Should that not be happening at all?

Did I do something wrong with installing them maybe?
Here is a pic of my rotor after bedding in and about 20 miles of driving.
Also, I have an obnoxious amount of brake dust on my wheels after just about 7 miles of driving since I cleaned them, the wheels are nearly gray. (i cleaned them up slightly before taking the pic)
EDIT: For clarification, no more smoking, now just squealing at this point.

If those lines in the rotor are somewhat bumpy/grooved, then you probably just warped your rotors. Those brakes shouldnt be squealing that early in the brake-in period. They will dust alot for a while, but then it'll subside after driving on them for awhile.

They're not groovy, the rotor is quite smooth. I hope that this is just the normal process :/.

Ok then, just take it easy on the brakes during the brake-in period ~500 miles and see if the noise doesn't go away. Oh and don't go driving like you stole it until after the brake-in period.

Ok so it has been 2000 miles and the brakes have been squeaking like crazy when I drive with no brakes applied they squeak when they are applied they squeak.
I put some anti squeak stuff on they stopped for now.
Other question is, since I replaced my pads and rotors within every 500 miles I notice that my pedal travel is increasing more and more would this be because of some sort of bad pads or is it fluid related?
