That car would be cool if it lost the widebody fenders, wing, carbon fiber accents, front bumper, rear bumper, sideskirts, paint, interior and had its engine replaced with a K24/K20.
All this brings to mind a car magazine article that I read some time ago...a race team got hold of a riced out maxima. They ran it into a curb to get the front bumper off, ripped off the skirts and the rear bumper, tore off the wing, cut the car's roof off, removed the doors, windshield, and interior, installed some worthwhile modifications...and the car ran 12's. Awesome.

Excuse me, WTF is nice about this car? Besides the wheels/Brake kits, which are nice, this thing looks like a big fat yellow jacket. Wing, aero, all suck, the Wide body could be insane with the proper kit and lines, but this thing makes me wanna puke.

Yeah pretty much hit in on the head, I'll take that wheel brake setup anyday though, I may photochop it onto a side shot of my coupe to see how those graphite CF looking wheels and brake setup would look on a properly done vehicle. I have a feeling those color/style of wheels would look stellar on White, Silver and Blue colored vehicles. Don't feel like researching, but are those wheels a honda piece (lik 8th gen HFP 19"s) or some aftermarket brand?

Given that it's a honda showcase car, they SHOULD be HFP. The center caps ARE honda badged, but the end of each spoke has dimples, which is very uncharacteristic of HFP wheels. It may be a one-off set. They do not resemble any current or past generation HFP wheel that I know of. My guess is that they were a one-off set produced for that vehicle only. The same goes for that brake kit....equal size calipers for front and rear...can you say W I C K E D?
I'd venture to say that the widebody kit and wheels were designed for each other...without those wide fenders, those tires would stick out at least an inch or two...The tires look slightly stretched as well....they could have gone a size up to give it more of a performance look.

I figured they weren't a mass available wheel from HFP. The 19" graphite wheels from HFP for the 8th Gen do look pretty similar to these IIRC. Yeah and that brake setup would probably give me whiplash if i hit the brakes too hard,

If im not mistaken, those are the 06-08 18" civic hfp rims(im rocking them)
I dig the car, except the spiler and front bumper. Im a little confused by the 5mt drivetrain...all the gen7 v6's came with 6mt.

i think im the only person on the planet that hates widebody kits. wtf is "hot" about them, the fact that they make your car look like a VW beetle??
ill take the yellow though. yes, im actually not joking if its a black on black interior
