Dave, I was looking at a few options for the NYCM/NECM meet. I was thinking the weekend of June 23rd being that the NY guys have some events planned the weeks before and after that weekend. I was thinking we Hammanassett another shot or there is a small park in Ansonia, CT  that I have to call about booking that weekend. Also, I can fit about 7-8 cars at my place for a bbq and a cruise after.

Rich, if you want to be the one to spearhead this, more power to you.  You know I'll help out in any way I can.  But, if you want to get this going in June, my recommendation is to start planning now... 2 months will fly by before you know it.  How much does it cost to get into these parks?  If I remember correctly, last year we ditched out on Hammanassett because the entrance fee to the park was something ridiculous.  My mentality is that if we're just going to park and hang out for a bit, why pay for that?  However, I'd be down with whatever the majority wants to do.  A meet is a meet either way.  Hang out.  Take pics.  Go for a cruise.  Eat food.  Have fun.

Original post updated.  That Fuddruckers meet that was scheduled for this Sunday has been postponed to May 27th.  I also added in Import Face Off, which is in NH on May 20th.

Anyone interested in the Hard Parking Meets?  I might actually be able to attend these now on Friday nights.

Hard Parking is tough for me with me work hours and driving an hour to worcester. i would be to tired and would only get to chill for about 30 min. But i'm  defintely down for Honda Fest in Lawerance. Dave from Team ECR is throwing the even and i've known him for a while and i would love to have a good showing of 7 Gen at this event. tired of seeing the same cars every summer at car shows.

This is the link to the park fees for Hammonassett State Park. The fees are significantly cheaper after 4pm. I will be calling a private park today to get some info on reserving it for June 23rd.

You know what, I think that's what happened. I think by the time we were all done and went on our separate ways it was 4:00. So I just paid the $7.

^No, it's just a park to host events at. I tried calling today for some info, but was told to call tomorrow after 11am when the secretary was there. I'll keep you updated. As of now though, we should all plan on this event being June 23rd. I will have Dave update this once I get the info tomorrow.

Keep me posted Rich.  To be honest though, I'm not too fond of having to pay $22 to pull into a park and hang out.  We could easily do that for free in a parking lot.  Thoughts (other than I'm a cheap piece of shit)?  ;D

The car meet today at Colt State Park was huge, and the weather was nice.  Good way to kick off the season early.  I also used the tag cards for two Accord owners to see if they'll join here.  One guy named Richie from Boston said he was on here before, but now his silver 7th gen is a nice Lexus blue with a 7.5 gen front end conversion and is really cleanly done.  He needs local help putting the coupe rear lip on his sedan.

Ok, so I got the info on the private park that I mentioned before. It's $500 for the day which gives you access to the restrooms and kitchen. This would be more suited for an ECM mega meet type of event. If I could spare $500 right now I would do it, but that money is going into my car to fix shit. So it's my place, unless we all want to contribute (the park is booked until the end of July).

I have room for 4-5 cars in the driveway; 2 on the lawn and others on the street (Like some of you already know, it's a dead end street so there's not a lot of traffic). I have a grille and I'll work on getting a park bench or something.

I did the Honda fest show this past weekend, was a good turnout, I think the end count was 288 cars which is not bad the the first ever show, they will be doing it again next year since they had a great turnout. I took home 2nd place Accord 98-up and 2nd place VIP

I saw your car in a video someone posted on k20a.  I also saw pictures of a 640 whp RSX that I know the owner of.  Maybe I'll make it out next year.

Didn't make it to Dynotech today in Seekonk :( I didn't realize it was 2 hours away, plus if my car gets stuck in park and i'm stuck down there i'm screwed!

Seekonk is a bit of a hike from New Hampster. Even when I lived in MA, it took me an hour to get there.

At Gillette?  Not yet.  I hear they get a very good and mixed turnout, but the problem for me is that I work late on Thursdays, so for now it's a schedule conflict.   >:(

Yeah I have heard good things about it. I work till 7 on Thursdays but, I'm in the area I might swing down one day and check it out.

As of right now, I'm kinda meh about the next Petco meet on September 1st.  I'm more interested to check out the Japanese Car Day on Sunday, September 30th at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum because there might be some interesting stuff there.  Going into October, Import Face Off in NH is on the 14th, but there's rumblings that Team Black Japan in RI will be having another meet that day.  If that happens, it's a much closer drive for everyone, but they haven't set that day in stone yet.  The meets at Gillette on Thursday nights also seem interesting, but I just can't get to any of them due to work.  Season's winding down...

I wanted to hit Black Japan meet but that's a toss up if it's on October 14th.  My buddy's bachelor party is the night before at Foxwoods but not 100% sure I'll be in any condition to go up there Sunday lol

Z and Nelson - The meet I'm focused on on Sunday is Black Japan, which is usually one of the biggest local RI meets every year.  It is being held in Johnston, RI at some huge parking lot.  When I wrote about a toy and a canned good, that's actually a totally separate meet that I saw in the newspaper last week.  Not even sure if it's a show or a cruise because it says "fun run" or something to that effect, but I just threw it out as a second option because it's happening 10 minutes away from the Black Japan meet and it's in the morning, whereas Black Japan starts at noon.  That make more sense?
