I replaced mine way back and remember it being a huge pita. It involved a razor blade to get the oem one off. I replaced it with a momo one and I couldn't get the adapter piece for the button that was recommended to work either. It came out looking nice and Tim is correct now I can't fully remove that trim piece without damaging it. It was one of my earlier mods so maybe there is an easier way that I didn't know but it sticks in my mind as not being a fun time.
The illegal and frowned upon free app store is another reason why many people jailbreak. Or unlocking features in your phone that you usually have to pay for ie tethering and creating hotspots. I have had to jailbreak to enable some things while overseas also like facetime for example. But you're right slowly but surely they're getting rid of most of the reasons to jailbreak

Car History: Bought brand new while stationed in Germany and have the title. First 15k were almost all autobahn miles. As of 13Sep2011 has about 24,000 miles on it after just returning from a 6200 mile road trip. Been overseas so much haven't had a whole lot of time to enjoy it. First mods were all bad decisions i.e. OBX headers than I found the old gen7 back in 06 I want to say and have been trying to mod responsibly since. I've been a member of most of the accord forums for a long time but never really posted because I didn't have any pictures of my car and didn't feel right starting without a profile.
