got my mufflers installed this morning. the magnaflow 14829's is quieter to my old setup with skunk2 mufflers. i actually like it being a little quiet but have the rumble at WOT
i was planning on remounting my roof spoiler today. i ended up cracking part of it in the process. ill have to sand off the paint, prep it and smooth it with bondo. then paint again.
changed my gauge cluster color to red with some high temp gel sheets. i was worried at first because my fuel gauge needle wouldnt move, turned out to be the gel sheet so i adjusted it and it worked fine. need to adjust the one behind the speedo tho
Ouch..... who stripped the threads? will you be posting pics as well?
its hard to say. it could have been them because i went there 3 weeks ago to get new tires, and they most likely used a impact wrench to put the wheels back on. im not terribly upset, it just means i need to spend more time on my car putting new studs in. ill be posting up pics fairly soon (more like when i get the studs and wheel on lol).
*TODAY 8/24/10*
Got my studs in today. Kind of funny because I started working on it while my dad and uncles were working on another car. They pretty much took over the whole thing. Thought they needed to pull the wheel hub to get the studs back in but i showed them you can just hammer it back in lol. Anyways here are some teasers I guess until I get the car cleaned.
got my new wheels put on. the mechanics were worried i would be rubbing more but they look the same. they couldnt get my front passenger on because of my wheel studs (partially cut due to stripped threads.) fixing the studs tomorrow.
No it's not a build or anything, but rather a video that I must say is truely a work of art. I can appreciate a person spending time and effort into something extraordinary.
