so in the past i used  smoke vinyl film to cover up many parts here is my lates project..i covered up all the chrome trim around the windows and also covered up the pillars.. i used the same tint that used to smoke out my tail lights. C&C welcome...

not really feeling it. Im not a fan of chrome but it looked cleaner before you blacked it out.

the vinyl that i used is made by Orafol and what i had to do was cut the vinyl in strips about 1 inch and 1/2 wide and and almost 7 feet long to do the triming for the pillars i used abou 12" by 2 feet most

Not bad.  I don't like the chrome trim on our cars.  Is it the pictures, or are the edges not that clean?  I can't tell, but something doesn't look right to me.

Yeah I don't care for the chrome covered up, but it looks like the mirrors are smoked out. Are they smoked, or am I seeing things? Either way, the mirrors look good.

looks pretty good both way - haven't a lot of the sedan folks removed the black taping in the pillars to reveal the clearcoat on that area?  i remember seeing a few of those around

 :grin:  Thanks Milan..is not that hard to do it just takes some skill to do it.... also thats the first time i did it so it didnt come out perfect but it looks awsome.. it took me about 2 hours to do both sides.
