Title: Honda/Acura Wheel paint
Post by: clapton924 on March 03, 2009, 12:45:59 AM
I have a set of wheels arriving this week which have a small paint scratch on them.  Was thinking of trying to touch this up before I mount the wheel. I've read that finding a Honda paint code for wheels is close to impossible. Has anyone found a paint that matches the oem satin silver color well? I've heard the dupli-color wheel paint is fairly good.

A friend of mine had his TL type S wheels refinished to factory code. I will ask him what he did to make it happen, Greg.

OEM Satin Silver metallic is close if you put clear on it after.

Isn't the OEM paint something like Silverstar Silver? I remember someone talking about this in a different thread on the old server.

I was able to find a good match at the Honda dealer.
