I'm sure I read somewhere about someone trying to fab a bracket to fit the rear calipers of the NSX on our cars...I just can't find it. They are single piston, but the piston is slightly larger and the ebrake is actuated the same way to.
I also read about Accord Typer R two piston rear calipers, but I don't know if the ebrake works the same way.
Anything has to be better then these calipers...I still have one staring me in the face that I have to replace :p
Accord Euro R calipers are aluminum and should be a direct replacement. I'm not sure about other calipers though. Aftermarket would be some srs dough though. I guess you could always get something from fastbrakes.

I might look into it working in the parts store part time I see how ofter these things go bad. We literally stock 4 of each caliper, and they are sold out by the end of the week every week. I bought mine when I got there at 4 PM last night because it was the last one left, and literally had 3 calls in 2 hours looking for the same caliper.

im sure anything that has to do with other then stock not gona work with ebrake. but i could be wrong. i wonder if anybody ever did hydraulic brake conversion or how hard it is to do.
why not just get brackets from paul and use pilot rotors. if you gona try to do anything too much brake bias will be messed up and not gona work too well

I have the fask brake BBK for the accord. Wilwood 4 piston in the front and MDX/Pilot rotors in the rear. Brakes pretty damn good.

Stoptech makes a CL7/CL9 rear BBK with integrated parking brake. Fastbrakes makes a rear BBK using a Wilwood caliper with integrated parking brake too.

It's not about better braking it's about not replacing these piece of shit calipers once a year.

I guess it's a good thing I still have drum brakes then.

Why not replace them yourself? I'm curious if the TSX rear calipers have the same problem? Maybe they're a direct replacement?

I'm going to order another brake cable and another caliper hopefully that will stop my rear calipers from sticking...for a while at least :p

Agreed. My car is too slow to require larger brakes. The stocks work just fine under most circumstances, for now.

I do.. What I'm trying to get at is that I would rather pay more for something that doesn't brake as often... I changed the other one today with new pads and rotors all painted nice nice we shall see how long this set of calipers last.

Sorry, I mistyped what I meant. Why don't you rebuild them yourself?
