As Rich said the organization of the event was horrendous, they tell people to form lines and they will take them in 1 by 1, then they just leave people to do whatever they please, don't direct traffic, etc.  Like what did you expect englishtown? that a bunch of wannabe thugs and ricers will actually stay in line if you don't regulate it?  it was disgusting in every way possible

and on top of that, to turn us around and tell us we need to go BACK to the line we were organized and waiting in patiently for over an hour and a half, that really is the last string.  a YES I bought my ticket in advance, biggest mistake ever, I disputed the charge on my CC, and I will get my money back

Yea the famous Halal meet and Baker's meet and so on... it used to be just civics and what not but it has started to become more open and a better group of people that get involved. I might hit up the next Halal Meet in Oct. It's normally held on a friday night. Everyone meets in Midtown and eat Halal food and then cruise down to the South Street Seaport.
