I just chopped away a 4' x 8' section and it took me an hour to break through that much ice. This shits like 18" thick still. Tomorrow I'm gonna do anothe section. Hopefully that's big enough to fit my car.

I see Piero has come out of the wood works, I wonder if we did something to get him upset, he doesn't chat with us anymore, any feedback?

I hope so man and I hope you had the chance to get it done also, because outside is a mess right now. I have snow up to my knees and snow drift up to the window of car.

I finished chopping it all away last night before the storm hit. Tonight it's just the light powder stuff. I don't mind that so much.

Yup, I'm running out of places to put snow in my yard. I have snow banks over 6' tall on both sides of my driveway Smiley

That happened to me.  I resolved it by throwing it in my neighbors yard.  >Cheesy

This is a bad idea. I'm sure your smarter than this but, When I was young my family had to take our neighbors to court because they would put there snow over the fence, and subsequently up against the foundation of the house. Long story short there was some damage to the foundation and they were liable for 85% of the $60,000 in repairs.

Mike, I'm sure I'm smarter too! haha

It's in the neighbors yard, not against their house. It's a building where the owner doesn't live there, it's just tenants and his rear yard is a jungle.  They've never mowed the lawn and the weeds are the size of trees. I'm doing them a favor, cause the snow is knocking down the weeds.
