I have been looking and have not had much luck finding one... I am looking for a interior donor car for mine for some interior pieces i want, if it has rear disk brakes should i just rip the parts off of it? would that transplant work?
Thanks -Big Mike Title: Re: rear disc conversion Post by: NVA-AV6 on March 31, 2009, 02:39:25 PM goto one of the online parts sites and start cross referecing the parts against eaither a V6 or a EX, I know you need the knuckles and e-brake cables, but you can get these from a 03 to 07 so you should not have too much trouble getting the parts out of a yard.

As Paul mentioned the knuckles and e-brake cables are needed, along with calipers and rotors. On the sedan, the wheel bearings and ABS sensors are the exact same though. Hope that helps. When I do the conversion on my sedan this summer, I'll make sure to post a DIY.

It will be the beginning of summer before i have the parts or begin i plan on doing it when we do brakes in school so i can do it with a lift and everything. It may also be a good idea to check car-part or go junk yard hopping to get these of a wrecked EX. I've talked to a few places that were willing to sell everything for about $400. That will reduce the sting of a $1200 OEM parts list.

im starting to buy parts for this as well, quick question tho are the 4cyl and the v6 rear calipers the same? can the v6 calipers be used since im going to be upgrading the rear to 12.3 inch pilot rotors and will be using a relocation bracket does it really matter if i use the calipers of the v6 or 4cyl?? reason i ask is i found a good deal on the v6 rear caliper, thanks.
