Spent the past few days assembling the new transmission, pulling the motor to put the new trans on, then dropping the motor back in. 3 days of hustling to try and get it ready to drive to the local Tuesday meet. On my test drive I discovered that there is a pretty big vacuum/boost leak. I'm hoping the replacement fitting I bought today will fix it. If not, the blower and manifold need to come off and I get to inspect for cracks in the runners and plenum.

It's a never ending battle, Ike. That's why we do what we do.

Had to take a break from house work today and did an oil change.

Hope it's coming together Tim.

Had to put the younger baby on a flatbed today. It was leaking strawberry shake, coolant overflow was empty and so was the radiator. Tried putting in some coolant in the radiator, but found the Tranny dip stick had coolant all over it. Looks like the tranny cooler section of the rad took a hike and started mixing the fluids. When it rains....

Replaced the top weather stripping on the windshield

Noticed some rust up there. Decided to just let it be.
