It just seems like one thing after another with this car    So after creeping/searching many forums I still have no idea what it could be. Some people say there CAI's squeak but that makes no scene to me plus my squeak only happens accelerating. So if you have and idea's post em up. I just want to see if i can fix this myself, I don't feel like going to Honda and giving them one of my arms or leg.

Thanks in advance!

MY CAI used to squeak upon acceleration. I have an AEM CAI with the rubber mount that screws into the fender well. I got rid of the squeak by tighten it down a little more. If you think about it the CAI would only attempt to move when accelerating. If it's not doing it going over bumps then it's less likely to be your suspension although the amount of weight put on the fonts would be reduced as the front end lifts under acceleration. The brakes would have been the last thing I looked at for an issue that happen when I’m on the gas but, it never hurts to change them!

Hard to tell, but it sounds like the normal whistling noise from the CAI. Does it go away after a certain point during acceleration? Mine whistles a little from about 2000-2500RPM range. If not, then like Mike said, try re-torquing the clamps, mounts, etc. Also, check to see if there is any rubbing impression where the filter is.

These things happen as you modify your car.  It could be anything, possibly your suspension.  Your description didn't give us much to go by.  It could be an angry squirrel living in your engine bay for all we know.

I actually raised the rent for the squirrel and they left last week but i got some chipmunks coming to look at it next week

OK here is the dirty. It is a sequel that sounds like a brake pad, but after driving it around yesterday I'm thinking it might be a loud whistle sound. It will happen if the motor is cold and will kinda lighten up as it warms but never goes away fully. It only happens when i am accelerating at about 1/4 throttle. It only seems to happen around the lower end of the rpm range but the motor might just drown out the noise. I just installed my short ram cold air about 3 weeks ago and i changed my pads last Saturday (and yes i did put anti-squeal) but its not a brake problem. I am going to try to take it in to my buddy this week to get it looked at and i have to have him install my camber kit but if you have any idea's on what i could look at before that would be cool.

Does it happen when you're in park or neutral and have it at 1/4 throttle, or just under load?

I blame your intake. If you still have the stock airbox, try throwing that in and see if the squeak goes away. If it does, you know you have a normal CAI squeak/ whistle. Sounds to me like you have movement of the intake because you said it only happens under load. Engines move quite a bit when you put a load on them.

sounds just like the whistle i get from the CAI (under 1/4 throttle, light load, low RPMs).  if its more prominent since you installed the short ram then im guessing its the culprit.

Like Z said, through the stock air box back in if you have it. This will either solve your problem or eliminate the CAI as the culprit. Keep us posted Rob.
